Wow..This guitar sounds just about as good as my Yamaha fg 830..Nice

Kyle Hollinsworth

All seagull maritime are solid wood mines got to cut out and it's got the SWS sticker on it and some don't have the sticker but all of them are solid wood mine is mahogany back and sides with a spruce solid top

GuitarFan7

I recently bought this guitar and I am a big fan. Check out some of my videos playing it!

Evgeny Makeev

G and D are too close to each our. Simple mechanical issue but it is often happens with guitars… :-(.

BabyFaceNewYork

I thought that he was gonna try to imitate a seagull on the guitar 🙁

Jera Sowilo

Bought a used Seagull Artist Mosaic and love it; plays easier than a Martin DM and has wonderful resonance and tone.

Rodeo Ranger

I have owned many many guitars and I now have 1 Seagull SWS HG and have another Seagull SWS Mahogany ordered . I can't say enough about these guitars . I love them all and I am saving now for a Seagull Artists Mosaic Cedar top and Mahogany back & Sides . These all wood Series guitars are just incredible .

texbear21

I wouldn't talk u are fatter than me bitch

texbear21

All the Maritime line is SWS (Solid Wood Series). I own one of these (GC) models and it is without doubt NOT LAMINATE. I also emailed Seagull and rep. stated "All Maritime models are solid wood –no laminates used in their construction"

texbear21

sounds great

jordan Lodgeeee

agreed i would say it a bit moe mellow tone on the seagull though

This Seagull actually sounds very good. Listening to this youtube video over your pc may not be doing it for you. Breedlove is "my" guitar, C25's and J's out of Bend, OR. But if someone handed me $2000 for a new guitars right now – I kid you not, as a fingerstyle player especially, I'd walk in and buy this guitar, pocket the remaining $1,300 and run out the backdoor. If I need to make this Seagull elec I buy a Baggs M1 or M80. Done… 🙂

Matthew Ardeleanu

@03artbz That's odd, I just bought one myself from GC and the sales reps, as well as the SWS sticker on the headstock lead me to believe it IS all solid wood. I even checked myself – the grain on the inside of the back is EXACTLY the same as the outside. This means that it could not be a laminate, as laminates by nature are layers of wood arranged in OPPOSING grain for strength. I don't think Seagull was lying to either of us, but they may have believed that you meant another model.

j0nnyism

maybe its the mic but it sounds abit too soft.to be a spruce are u sure this one is spruce?

stratovani

Not bad, bit it sounds a bit cheap to me.

Jason Dominguez

@ryevick This is the Maritime SWS…only available at Guitar Center. I bought mine from a guy on craigslist. Such a great instrument!

gitarrstrimlaren

They all sound like crap compared to this one: watch?v=S33tWZqXhnk&feature=related They should mic better!!

willson3D

@purplepineapple117 where can you get it for 450?

bahamu

The Seagull website shows 4 types of guitars in the Maritime series. Non of them are cut-aways. What's the deal with this one?

Somsak Inta

@froz3nbran3s I think it's better. Compared to the price !

The Costco

I can get a new seagull maritime with Q1 pickup system for a little less then $450 or I can get a gibson hummingbird for $2600 😮 what do you think im going to get?

Donna Fox

I have this guitar and love it.. Playing with strings now to see what I like.

Sockfoot

i don't think that's a maritime… if it is it's rare… i have been looking for a maritime cutaway and it is nowhere to be found… if you know where it is please post a link…

dkang57

god that headstock area just looks so damn shiny and classy cool with the logo. like drinking champagne on a yacht babyyyy

Nonna Urbisness

It hurts me seeing you strum that hard

John Small

Is this the SWS Maritime? SWS => Solid Wood Series?
