I really want this!!!
This seems like it would be the easiest phone on Earth to scratch and break. At least the foldables we have close in on themselves. Cool idea, but unless we invent a flexible, transparent, shatter-resistant material that scratches at a level 6 or higher, I can’t see these concepts really going anywhere. This thing would get scratched up by the lint in your pocket.
I want this phone so look

Who would want a smaller phone rolling out to a bigger normal sized phone. Rather have a 6.8 rolling out to a bigger tablet sized
Motorola RIZR
3s to fully extreme no one has the patience for that. While cool just don't see real functionality maybe to watch streaming apps 🤷🏿♂️
I actually think this is a more interesting rollable than the Oppo concept because of its small size. The back panel also works as a cover display like for the Flips and Razrs. There will obviously be durability concerns. The part that rolls up looks very flimsy as many pointed out. But I think this concept already made foldables look very boring and outdated. Rollables can remove a crease.
If this ever comes to the mass market, it will be my next phone. But it's just a concept. I remember seeing foldable and rollable screens back in CES 2011. We didn't get the curved displays about a year after the Samsung's YOUM announcement in early 2014. Then foldables by 2019. We could be waiting for a while for this next generation RIZR. Rollables can be the new gen for sliders like the OG RIZR, Z9, LG Chocolate, Nokia N95, etc.
I currently still use a Razr 5G next to a Flip 3, iPhone SE 2022, iPhone X, and Pixel 3. But my sim is inside that Razr because I prefer using it as a phone the most even if I prefer my Flip 3 more as an overall device. Motorola and Nokia have the best reception and call quality. Looks like my next phone will continue to be a stylish and pocketable Motorola.

1. Motorola RIZR
2. Apple iPhone 13 mini
This is black magic! Believe me, I've seen it before.
The future phone which will be set in the watch.this phone just was a flash in the pan
Thanks
Good phone indeed
Smaller size easy to put in pocket
Larger size as required
Motorola made by Lenovo .. I'll pass. My LG V60 is cooler with dual screens.
Cool design, but it doesn't seem to be very useful. It might have a flexibility in its size and compact design, but I doubt how useful would this be, usually gimmicky stuff.
I want it
Make it to market….? Sure hope so!!
smooth af🔥
How U play games when extended
Traditional smartphones are boring. I need something like this
OOOOooooo
Android Authority, when capturing video always turn your camera horizontal a.k.a landscape. Watching your video it is though we are looking through a keyhole or wearing horse blinders; the left and right of your scene is cut off. Recall, every TV screen, computer screen, monitor screen, movie theater screen, and the like, are a horizontal orientation. We see our world more landscape than portrait. Would you enjoy watching a movie or video on the aforementioned screens having the video dead center on the screen with the left and right cut off, I think not.
RIZR branded on the back of the screen when it rolls out. It will be produced but probably not in the US.
I'm a pixel phone 📱 fan but I would definitely buy this phone when & if it's ever let out to the market
Don't think it's a great idea due to using a lot of battery power .
So cool. I hope it is a go for this phone
This would be a perfect answer to a foldable phone
one more non serviceable phone.
I think most of us thought of this option when foldable phones came out. But just as i thought, this looks very vulnerable. I don't see this one being the future, it's really hard to get rid of the brick shaped phone
When it's closed is amazing!
I whould use it 85% of the time closed!
It's super compact and looks so comfortable to use it!
