as a samsung 75 QN90A owner – I would def wait to upgrade to the likely incoming 2023 77" S95b/equivalent late next year/ 2024. 😍, another consideration since I have the HW930b 9.1.4 sound system is that the Sony tvs basically have their screens sitting on the table whereas the samsung is built to accommodate bar
Terreble stand on the Sony
The 2. Anti S95B video today 😂😂😂.
Why saying the price is not justify when you are compairing premium brand with a cheap one the price is justify by the fact Sony products always been more expensive than Samsung due to the quality of their products since day one, and this video proves it again the A95K can't not be compair to the S95B it's 2 differents TVs and the only thing they have in common is the panel they are using each others, but beside that they are totally different in anything else's, not mention the A95K is a masters series TV build to last, which means they are clearly not competing in the same league.
The brightness of my A95K 65“ already annoys me and personally I think it’s too much especially for watching normal tv and sport. Everything is so poping out.
Ill choose Sony for picture quality built and heatsink, but Gaming and price is samsung but both amazing tv.
I think Sony has the picture I would like more. But, have a request you to ask. Since you are getting your TVs from JL stores, is it possible for you to do review of TX-65LZ1000B 65 inch, OLED, 4K HDR Smart TV which is exclusive to them only in UK? Thank you.
Please people don't make the mistake of buying a Samsung
WOW 👑SONY GOD FOREVER#1 ✌️ 👑
Please redo this video with matching settings…
My TV has been perfect since day one.. wall mounted and that thin beauty is perfect.. ! Sound quality awesome..dark scenes and contrast is great and brightness is amazing in a well lit sunshine as well.. its just being put down for by its haters.. if its bent get another unit ..big deal
Putting that Sony In custom is the most accurate and best picture quality. Custom vs film maker is one correct way to compare.
Both TV's is Great, whatever someone takes he be very good….i prefer Samsung bcs of i play video games more then movies watch….
s95b for 1.4k € or a95k for 3.5k € 🤔🤔🤔
What's the deal with people saying the s95b is over saturated ?
well for most of those scenes, the samsung did the better job. its brighter and the colors pop out more. on the sony, a lot of the image looked dim like those lg oleds. even though both TVs are QD oled, but the samsung seems to be true QD because of the vibrancy when it comes to colors and brightness. the samsung is actually the winner. it all depends how u set it up
i was lucky enough to get the Sony A95k with a 500 Euro discount, and since i won't buy a TV that doesn't Support Dolby Vision, my choice was clear. No regrets, this TV is awesome. However, here in Germany the A95k is not double as expensive as the Samsung S95B. For the 65 inch version it is about two thirds of the price of the Sony TV (3200 Euro vs 2200 Euro.)
Something isn't right with this comparison. My Samsung barely have any of the issues you mentioned. Change your settings my dude
It was so back and forth with brightness depending on the scene, I wonder if you played back the same movie twice and compared them side by side with the same TV are they different?
It just made no sense why the Sony is so much brighter and the S95B is so dark in one scene then in the next scene it's the complete opposite, it's like they are choosing when to give you more brightness and when not to…..like it can only give you max brightness sometimes and then needs the panel to cool down for a bit so it will dim down the next scenes. Combined with Samsungs DTM of HDR10 and Sony using DV……it's hard to say what exactly causes it……ABL, cooling, different formats with different ways of processing the meta data……HDR is really going to vary alot from screen to screen it seems.
Edit: Never mind, this video explained it in a nutshell alot better including a proper side by side comparison. While using real content in either SDR, DV or HDR10 the Sony does tend to make the image brighter for APL and highlights compared to S95B, probably because of the heatsink. So that Avatar 2 trailer and those HDR demos were in HLG? Where the S95B appears to make the APL brighter compared to how Sony processes HLG……and the colours, motion and picture is almost identical when using the default accurate presets of MM/FMM on the Samsung or Custom/Cinema on the Sony. Very small differences. Mainly it's how they handle blacks and brightness a little differently. The Sony will have slightly better detail and motion as well it seems. So if you want a brighter, more accurate and simply the best HDR experience you go for the Sony. But he recommends the Samsung for value for money, it's performance is close enough for most people and alot cheaper for a premium experience.

2 of the best of the year. Not everyone cares. about Dolby Vision.
And what about the comparison between the Sony A95K and the Samsung QD95B?
Got my 65in A95K for £2300.. Can't argue at that money.
Great side by side review even though the Samsung lovers, at least some of them don't like it. Me? If I had to choose between the 2 it would be Sony. The reason is I don't trust Samsung and their QC not to mention I have no love for their customer service. But since I already own LG's legendary C1 I am all good for a few years if not more.
I got the SONY A95K 65’. No debates.
800$ off on the Sony A95K here now, so i pulled the trigger. I considered taking a chance on the Samsung for the lower input lag, but I just didn't want to set myself up with the hassle of returning multiple tv's because of bent screens and firmware issues.
Sony has always been my preferred tv brand when it comes to the best looking picture so im happy with the purchase.
If money is no object. The Sony all the way. Past years, I was not impressed with Sony at all. 2022, they really stepped up.
Personally, I don't mind the lack of HDMI 2.1 ports. I am running the TV through a Denon receiver that can do all that I want.
Edit: I would say that if you are looking at only gaming on a big QD-OLED, there is no question, the Samsung is the clear winner.
I was able to get the A95K Sony TV at Best Buy for a little over $700. Unopened and perfect condition
There's too much bloat on all TVs these days
Which has the better motion?
Good comparison. To me the Sony seems like a far more refined premium product. Best allround OLED if money is no object.
The Samsung hits hard in some areas (to a fault at times), but seems really inaccurate, and has quality control issues. Pushes its panel so hard I'd be concerned about the longevity of the panel, and there have already been reports of burn-in on the Samsung. Also the lack of Dolby Vision is a complete deal breaker for me.
My conclusion is either get the Sony if money is no object, but if money is a concern then skip the Samsung and buy the LG C2, which is the best bang for buck OLED on the market that doesn't have issues like the Samsung.
S95 .. best tv.. no issues since day 1.. Sony not worth the useless Sony Tax..!
Sony wins every time casual PQ comparisons because Samsung looks crap on default settings.
Yes, the Sony shits all over the Samsung. I have the Sony, it’s worth the price, the Samsung is for people who can’t afford the Sony.
77inch + or no buy
This is the perfect example of brighter isn’t always better king Sony natural
I have the S95B and I think what is happening here is the contrast enhancement setting was left at high as it was by default. When you set this to low things come much more down to earth as far and natural looks and less blown out highlights.
A95K all day everyday.
If the sony a95k would have 4 hdmi ports .then it would be the best tv to buy and the price would then be justified
Going to be waiting for QD OLED in mainstream lineup in 2023 H1 with DV and proper HDMI 2.1
