The Apple Watch is kinda like the Watch 4 Classic. Neither would last a single day with only Bluetooth running.
I immediately put it back in the box & got the Watch 5 Pro Titanium.
I get 4 days easily & could get longer but I just throw it on charge every 4 days.
I still get 2 days out of my 2yr old like new Amazon Refurbished Gear S3 Frontier.
If a watch won't last a single day? It's not worth it.
I'm over 50 & only need heart monitoring, so the 5 Pro works fine for me, especially for $150 (trade in my refurbished 4 Classic) Samsung gave me more than what I paid for it. Gotta love those holiday sales.
You are mocking the look of the Galaxy watch…but in the same time I can t tell if you have a apple watch 1 or 8.
Smartwatches are getting thicker again it looks like lol. They've gotten a little stagnant compared to other tech throughout the years. Still using my Huawei watch 1 (android wear android 7.1.1) still does everything besides the lte and I guess updated software features. Looks better than most imo also. Some of the watches from back then are still my go to to this day.

I can't believe the wristband is like that. How frustrating and stupid to have the ends overlap. There's a reason no watch designer has ever done that. How did they not see the problem with that?

Bought 5 pro thanks to many reviews, including this one. Default strap is just horrible. Horrible to set right and bulky. The watch itself is great for a low to semi active amateur, with the weight of 46g, compared to hefty Garmins 60-80g which offer 2x-3x battery life with GPS on custom OS. It is still a gadget but at least you can fully leave your phone at home. Battery charging rate is great, 30 min 50% easily giving you a day is great. I guess Samsung could try improve battery / charging time even more. Navigation is a bit awful. You can't set up Samsung training app where apps are or set up a button to it. Second button is back or Bixby, CMON.
For those who have the galaxy watch 4 there better off saving money and skipping the watch 5 this year

I got a Watch4 Classic for the rotating bezel and when I bump and scrape my watch on stuff I'm genuinely surprised it has no scratches. My only issue is the leather band is falling apart already..
I own the pro 5, and it's a great watch. You don't buy Ewatches for the resale value. And I'd honestly only recommend the watch if you work out regularly and like tracking things about your body. It's a fitness watch, not a watch you wear when you sit at a desk 12 hours put of the day.
A miles better looking then a pixel watch and apple watch!
do any of these have the old wrist gestures where you can navigate the watch without your second hand?
Another nice feature is the sapphire crystal glass the scatch restaurants is way better and the clasp is not as bad as he made it look

Battery degrades fast. After 3 years , u can practically throw it away
got a watch 5 ,is a nice watch but im going to return it , because charging the battery every day is a nuisance 😠 i hope Samsung can improve the battery life with a solar battery 🤓 but i think Samsung is decades behind in solar technology 🤔
3:29 That's… what… a real watch band feels like, pleb. Not every watch has to have some crappy fitness band on it. Use a metal linked band and you gain immeasurable comfort overall. Also, your wrists are large enough to withstand the impact of a meteorite. I don't even have anything invested into this, other than needing to explain how inane the criticism is, when there are no benefits mentioned. Isn't that what a tech channel is supposed to do? Maybe go outside of the box instead of pointing at how well the product adhered to a set standard that's an irritating, and ugly fad? Not every smart watch has to conform to some odd singular standard. And it won't.
