Freshman Student Checklist – Fall 2022

• Submit your $ 100 deposition along with your statement of Intention Form .
  • Your login data to submit your registration deposit is your nautical ID number ( ex. M0012345 ) and your PIN is your 6-digit date of birth ( MMDDYY ) .
• Complete and submit your 2022-2023 FAFSA ( School Code : 002853 ) .
• Access “ My nautical ” E-mail – ( Please allow 2 commercial enterprise days from when you submitted your registration deposit to complete this work ; you will receive a confirmation e-mail with details ) .
  • An electronic mail will be sent to the electronic mail address you provided on your application confirming acknowledge of your registration situate. This message will include all details related to accessing your maritime electronic mail .
  • Your username will be your first list, the first three letters of your last name, followed by a menstruation and your incoming year. So if your name is John Smith and you first base enrolled in 2022, your username will be johnsmi.22 @ sunymaritime.edu .
  • Your password will be the first initial of your first name, the first initial of your final name ( both capitalized ), followed by a crash, and the final five digits of your Maritime College ID. If John Smith ‘s ID is M00165789, her password would be JS-65789 .
• access Maritime Self-Service – Please allow 2 business days from when you submitted your registration deposition to complete this procedure .
  • You can only access Maritime Self-Service after you have established your Maritime E-mail report .
  • You will accept your Financial Aid via Maritime Self-Service .
  • Billing information will besides become available via Maritime Self-Service at the appropriate meter anterior to the begin of each semester .
• January 15, 2022  – Applicants accepted via early Decision must submit their Enrollment Deposit and Statement of Intention .
• May 1, 2022  – resign Enrollment Deposit for Regular Decision Applicants and Statement of Intention .
• May 13, 2022 – regimental students : Submit your application for your Transportation Worker Identification Card – TWIC ( domestic regimental students only ), apply for US Passport ( or apply for refilling if you are a stream US Passport holder and your current passport expires before October 2023 ).

• June 2022  – on-line placement testing ( extra information will be available late in the leap ) .
• June 6, 2022 – Submit the comply :
  • uniform sediment ( regimental students alone ) .
    • How to take Uniform Measurements & Uniform Measurement Form .
  • Housing application or Day Student Applications ( if you are a regimental student, but will not be living on-campus ) .
  • Accept Financial Aid .
  • Submit Health Forms
• July 8, 2022 – Set up Student ID Card ( upload photograph instructions located here ) .
• August 1, 2022 – render :
  • official college transcript ( south ) .
  • Final high educate transcript ( mho ) .
  • AP score reports, and/or IB .

• TBA – Submit final uniform requital ( regimental students merely ) .
• TBA  – Full college bill, including final examination consistent requital and Indoctrination fee for regimental students .
• TBA  – Move-in day .
• TBA  – Attend Orientation.
