I’ve been using a Samsung phone since 2011 but now it’s time to switch to iPhone. I edit on iMac and MacBook Pro, I have Air pods Pro and I need an Apple Watch in my life so I’m switching! In this video I’m unboxing an iPhone 13 Pro then taking it out into the field to test out it’s capabilities.

I found this extremely useful thank you Chris
What were you’re original feelings about no USBc , and the cutout on the screen and also, the whole operating system? Since you can’t customize it it like an Android. And also, what about no back button? Did any of those things drive you crazy? Because really all you talked about was the camera. Which is least important to a lot of ppl.. Thanks
I'm more interested in the differences in operating systems not cameras. Every video on YouTube focuses on only cameras smh.
People who review modern phones focus way too much on the camera. I want to know what the phone is like to use as a phone. Remember when phones were about making phone calls?
Im going from the S21 to the 13PRO Alpine Green havent had an iphone since the 6s+
do u know regular people use much more than just a camera?
Damn boy, got any license for those guns?😏🤤
Other than the smaller size there is absolutely NOTHING better about iPhone over Android… Android is a Billion times better than iPhone..
And I'm a major Apple stock holder.. But I'll never own an iPhone…
I currently have a s10 plus. Do you think i should go for the 13 Pro or the 13 pro max?. I have a XR just to try iphone but i could trade that in thanks
I'm also going from Samsung s9+ to iPhone 13 pro max tomorrow wish me luck!
I currently have the note 20 ultra, a week owning it, the rear camera housing broke while charging on the nightstand. I am switching today to the s22 ultra or iphone 13 pro max. Help me decide!
Does it film in 1080p at 60 FPS?
Oh in addition to my previous comment I've always an Apple Watch myself, so I will more than likely be following the path you have trodden.
I'm a tad late to the table with this upload, I have to say it's excellent.
I'm in the same boat as yourself, I went from a Nokia to Samsung S2 and I'm on an S10+.
Samsung pissed me off ditching the SD card option and reducing their battery sizes.
So, having switched over do you miss Always On Display and androids notifications system?
I'd love to see what the iphone 14 pro offers and if it's to the standard of the pro 13 I reckon after 12 years I will eventually jump ship.
Great upload 👊🏻👊🏻.
You just talked about the camera.
I'm just about 2 do the switch not 10 year of Samsung but over 5 yrs I've decided 2 switch it up and go 2 iPhone 13 so gud vid 4 me helpful thxs
OK. Alright. But does it smell better 🤔?
Excellent video!
Smart choice above all Chris!
I use to own apple 4s and then i switch to samsung note 3… in between, iown few samsung phone and now i own s21 ultra.. im getting bored with the os and the batt drain super fast. Im thinking of switching to apple back.
I've never used an iPhone. I'm 58. I had a blackberry 12+ years ago and then went to Samsung galaxy phones. I've only strayed once, but just to a Pixi 1l and hated it so badly I switched back. I'm concerned about learning the new operating system.
I have a samsung S8…saving money to get an iphone 13 😊
I’ve been with android since 2010 and I recently switched to iPhone and I have been really enjoying it.
I've been using android since the Motorola maxx back in the day. The 13 pro max will be my very first iphone. I would have probably gotten another middle of the road samsung phone to replace my current A70 but mom needed a new phone and her friend said to get her an iphone for an change instead of something cheap and unreliable again.
glad that I have found your channel, Chris! the camera samples are stunning, if I am being honest- the best 😊
Why do all reviewers focus so much on camera? I'd bet 80-90% just want a good enough camera. Battery life/quality of life on this phone seems way more important.
I just bought the iPhone 13 pro max vs being an Android user (Samsung Note 20 Utlra). I feel that the Android is more personalized vs the iPhone being so bland. i love colors, themes, wallpapers, and hell i can personalize texts. I can't even change the bubble colors/fonts.. but if any knows how to – I WOULD TRULY APPRECIATE IT.. Giving it a week…
I think the only reason one could switch from iphones is when they are already part of the apple ecosystem. As for you use mac + want apple watch.
I'm so happy I found this video! I too have had samsung for 10 years and am switching to iPhone. A part of me feels like a traitor because I have defended Androids for years! I'm nervous and excited to see how this goes.
For anyone starting to watching this video it's not an Android vs IOS comparison. It's a Samsung vs Apple camera comparison. Not much use for me and a misleading title.
I'm thinking of switching because of the Samsung phone price and the fact that they give inferior phones with different chipsets to the international as opposed to the US version.
I mainly want to switch to Iphone due to battery life. Every andriod I've ever owned has good battery in the beginning but progressively gets worse. Where as the newer iPhone batteries stay consistent
Android or iOS. Windows or Mac OS. Hmmm. Go with the American one. Great review. Lucky man.
I switched from Android to iPhone a while ago but I think the only thing that keeps me from ever going back to Android is the fact that it's made by Google, which is essentially an advertisement company.
Wow! Tech reviewer Chris
You've had the same tenure as me, Nokia n95 then started with samsung on the s2. I've actually stayed with samsung and now currently have a note 20 ultra, z fold 3 and z flip 3. Don't regret it
iPhone is enigma roja dove vs Samsung is fan your flames of nishane jejeje hellou frag-mental
I use both OSs daily. Android is definitely the smarter OS overall. IOS is slightly the more accessible, but generic, OS. They've become so similar though with just some minor differences in philosophies.
If you're using Android Google Pixel is the only way to go. Forget Samsung. The Pixel is to Android the way the IPhone is to iOS.
I’ve been with Samsung and just switched to Apple earlier this year and I HATE IT! Samsung has more shortcuts and is just more streamlined in general. Switching back as soon at the S22 comes out!! I agree that iPhone wins in the looks department.
Great review I’ve loved Apple phones for years since 2007 onwards Samsung make good phones 📱 but there not a patch on Apple 🍎 in my eyes I think you have made a great choice Chris but sometimes it’s just down to personal choice which phone to go for …. Keep up the great videos best wishes from Cheshire
Weird not hearing about fragrances
You probably regret this 😳 iPhones are awful 😖
