I always enjoyed tweaking and optimizing my 4XL. Also always looked forward to learning new and hidden features.
My Pixel 4XL is still performing well, why change? My plan will decrease after I pay my last phone pmt increment next month. I really don't want to give up my excellent facial recognition. I know it will probably start degrading in 2023. The Chrome browser starts crashing about once a week, but all I have to do is flush the caches and turn off the app. Then it behaves for a week or longer.
I'm still rocking my P4 XL but since y'all pass this information on now I have to upgrade to I guess the 6 pro
F 😓
Me on my 2xl although back camera not working due to faulty software update but still love that phone.
So what? It's not like you cannot use it anymore! I still use a Galaxy S7 and it can run every App. Updates are not everything. Only YOU are the one who lets a Smartphone become old and obsolete! It's not a reason to buy a new one, it's still completely functional! And if you still need the latest software, just install a CustomRom!
Worst phone I have ever owned.
Still gonna work smoothly despite not getting updates 😃
The time has gone in COVID-19
Even if the hardware does not guarantee u to get new os updates, at least give them a security update
L Google
W Apple
They should all be updating 7yrs minimum.
Not dead.
Stupid comment.. is not dead is better that all mid range android phones just loose updates..
Yes. I am also adding to mine with a white one from my daughter. She's getting( 12 )iPhone. I told her don't take the few bucks I'll give you more. She just gave it. So it's going to be another rom phone.
Still rocking a pixel 2 XL…. Butter smooth with pixel experience rom… Btw I'm on November security patch (2022 of course)
I am currently rocking a Pixel 4 XL and I love the FaceID-like biometric lock and the squeeze for assistant.
it doesnt need constant updates to be functional… As long as it works properly and its android version is supported by apps it is alive and well
My Pixel 4a is still supported until August 2023, but it's the last major Android phone to exist under 6" and I am hanging onto it until it is unusably broken!
That's how cold I got mine enrolled in the beta program well I guess I'll turn it into a full blown Linux phone now I got a reason to unlock the bootloader and go straight to Linux
Love my 4xl!!!
