A lot of these lore videos get a good number of views, suggesting there’s some interest in the Gears story, yet the player base for Gears 5 is disappointingly low.
It’s a sad thing to see as a long time gears fan
I would really love a gears of war game were you play as a locust and choose your armour. You start as a drone training and learning to use different creatures and later during the war you survive the flood and you then fight the lambent. Then if possible you face the final mission by somehow surviving the wave and die alone to show the tragic side of the locust.
Gears and Halo were my bread and butter for the Xbox 360
wonder what a podded human's consciousness experiences in that pod, maybe enzymes mix with flesh dissolving them into a goo that activates some molecular dna shared platform with other entities also consumed where the option to begin a simulated new live with all collective civilizations knowledge accessible and worlds reconstructed to live out energetically unseen. then again they could just be melted to make meat smoothies for the parasite tentacle food tubes they're attached in.
I liked the story of Gears 5, but I didn't like the sandbox elements in the desert and ice levels.
How amazing it would be if it ended on the idea of how war consumes us and the COG ultimately lose in the end. That would make for an excellent end for this trilogy before they decide to do another timeline.

And they couldn't get rid of the crystalized locusts because their bodies were too resistant so they dumped them in mines. They actually burned human bodies in piles because theres no room for graves, also the locust come from the planet so they didn't want to bury them under the surface, the same place the horde comes from
E Day took out 25% of the human population in one day, 2 years later they (COG) scorched the planet with the hammer of dawn, which didnt kill off as much locust as it killed more people, it was a couple days of ash covering the sky afterwards

The game keeps going and that's good, the story is very organized and well though out, that even keeps the players wondering, great video though.

Aahhh, the gears of war series, back when you played as beefed up soldiers and when it wasnt ticking the sjw checklist.
The moment they forced fenix's cuck son into the mix followed by the angry emo in gears 5 finished the series for me.
I've watched many Gears lore videos, but none have gone into as much detail as the first part of this vid. Didnt even know Niles was a instrumental part of the Gears history

I worked at circuit city when the first game launched i knew nothing about it and bought it blindly assuming it would be an fps put it in and was so disappointed it was 3rd person but that was short lived because the game was so amazing much like your mom and that is my one per video
