We were blown away by the submissions for the #AndroidDevChallenge. Using Jetpack Compose, Android’s modern toolkit for building native UI, the Android developer community built some truly amazing experiences.

No more XML and layout 😀
Compose is great but definitely not EASY
👽👍
wow cool apps there
Nice video, but I wish it was longer so we could see (and appreciate) the winning apps' designs, details, animations, etc.
Those are NOT the apps that were submitted. Those in the video were created by someone at Google using animation software. If you want to see the real apps, just search Github for #androiddevchallenge. None of them look like these cartoonish apps and hardly any of them even look highly professional. Shame on you Google.
Here is the link with information about the projects and links to GitHub:

Here is my app's GitHub if you're interested, JetWeatherfy, winner of the Code Quality category on Week 4:

Even in these screenshots, not all apps are supporting the navigation bar. Lol!
Compose has long way to go. Was not even able to build 2 column list view. And there is not enough info on internet. And build is talking longer than normal project.
Don't wait for a some stable version! Do it now!
Awesome 👍😎
Waiting for the stable version
What is jetpack and do they have a place to start. I m a very resourceful person normally but left Android for ReactJS to fill my belly with food.

Need some design inspirations, any directions please?
How is the video uploaded 20 minutes ago but there are comments from last week lol. Anyways this looks fire, looking forward to try it!
Leave the link to the source code of the projects, please.
where can we see codes for this?
You didn't even have the brains to clearly list the names of the apps in the video nor provide links to them in the video description…Typical of Android UI and UX.
