Tractor Sliding Backwards Out of Control on Ice and Snow | Scary!

If there’s a feeling I don’t like getting it’s the feeling of my tractor sliding out of control. Add to this the close proximity of a large tree and a building to my sliding tractor and that’s a perfect recipe for disaster. With the winter weather hitting hard, I’ve been left a bit behind in my winter preparation and as a result, haven’t gotten to putting on my tire chains on my tractor. Although I didn’t think this would be a big issue, as you’ll see in the video, it turned into a big issue quite quickly. With a clear demonstration of why these industrial tires on my utility tractor are not ideal candidates for snowy winter weather, I get back into winter preparation mode on today’s episode as I install my Trygg tire chains. Check out the rope method I use in which I use my tractor to lift the heavy tire chains into position. With a bit of fine-tuning and some zip ties, I manage to successfully get my tire chains into position. To finish off today’s episode I go back to the hill where disaster nearly happened initially and I test out the difference tire chains make. You’ll be shocked how different the outcome it. Glad you’re all here to watch. Here we go!
