Can you do a clip please on devices that are good for transferring data from iPhones for us elderly folks who subscribe please. Thanking you in advance.

Kai Vrox

When you mentioned laptop manufacturers like Lenovo that have proprietary charging bricks and ports, those companies will probably just remove the charging port and give the USBC port charging capabilities, so you essentially lose more than you gain there.

Tomasz Rabianski

iPhones Pro don’t just need USB-C, they need Thunderbolt USB-C like iPads Pro.

Having such as slow Lighting port on a flagship iPhone 14 Pro Max is sad.

??? : We've revolutionized again with the portless. No sim tray, no charging port, faster magsafe charging speed, and airdrop

Are you aware of any iPad Pro apps that provide on screen drawing, similar to epic pen for mac, but for iPad ? appreciate the help.

Ravi Rathore⚡

Apple will introduce portless iPhone but not with type-c port 😄

rohanb2001

its not official until apple themselves say it

I actually like Lightning, as it’s physically stronger and more resilient than USB-C.

The additional speed and compatibility will be nice though.

Justin Williams ✔️

Get ready for Apple to include a lightning to usb c dongle or a port less iPhone

Felix Nguyen

what is that glossy monitor?

i think apple will ditch the whole data transfer and charging iphone with cable entirely. wireless charging, airdrop, wireless data transfer, no sim card etc. i mean, only apple might do these things

I’d say they stop including the cable in the box entirely too. They stopped including the brick to save on e-waste. This law is to do the same, and so why wouldn’t Apple save more costs and remove the cable from the box to sell on the side when needed.

me

Does the law specifically state that the device has to come with an integrated usb port? Or can Apple just include a dongle in the box and call it a day?

no Name

who cares, its just a charger.

Caden Churchill

I am very curious about how many non-Apple phones this is going to actually impact.

griffinjar

Please please please symmetrical speaker / mic grill. Please.

Still millions of cheap androids, feature phones and chargers, battery banks ets that still use old usb. And usb standards identification still a mess not knowing what your usbc cable is capable of

Forget that. Just go MagSafe ALL the Way!! We already have MagSafe for most of our device accessories already. So technically we just need a MagSafe data transfer system. Like if you drop your AirPod Pro 3 on a MagSafe charger, it’ll charge with the MagSafe. So you don’t need usb-C technically.
