Hated AO Jun with a passion back then. Still it was possible to use older bots then and have a good game. When pixonic boosted trident to autoload and shortened the reload time that change alone got me through masters league with my Fury really fast and I ended up in champions league for the first time.
Today using older bots (Natasha, Fury, Lancelot, Carnage,Rogatka etc) just stand no chance against meta.
One of the reason I hate the state of the current War Robots is that we as a community let them do it. They invest time and money in new op robot and weapon designs which later adds even more effects. They are just slicing their body of bit by bit. Its only a matter of time when people have enough

Yes it WAS the best game on the market. But the unlimited GREED and stupidness of Pixonics just killed it. I mean they screwed up everything they could in pursuit of money.

I miss the days when Fujin and Raijin were the best robots. I remember thinking "Omg that guy has a Raijin/Fujin! They are super good!" and trying to run the opposite way. And when you could 4 tap most robots with a Thunder Natasha. Ah, the good old days. WR sure went downhill imo

Best time was right when the Korean dash bots came out. Things started going down hill with the Spector. Thats when Pixonic started the super OP robot craze that continued with the Ares, Ao Jun, all the way to the Fafnir, Seraph, Mars and Angler.
I quit shortly after the battle ships because people would just spend money and absolutely destroy my entire hangar
I miss the 2016 when there were no drones,no pilots,no battleships and you could just enjoy the game.
