Actually I had a plan to replace my accord with The New HRV-2022..
Also I made a test here in Abu Dhabi, 🇦🇪..and what I felt that.. like what u said..the engines are underpowered..the power to Weight ratio is not good..I should push full accelerator to move fast..the engine is struggling and I felt every gear changing..
1.5L is not sufficient for that car..!!

Honda used to produce enthusiastic cars now they are not and that lead to the downfall
The downfall of Honda can be blamed primarily on their designers.
Just look at the new city and the gen1 city,
new crv and the gen1 or 2 or even the gen 3 crv,
new civic versus all the legendary civics before!
Honda vezel is based on Civic platform. It was at Noida plant they were manufacturing cars Civic and upwards. During covid in order to cut down their losses, they shut down Noida plant. Noida plant is more of manpower based and Rajasthan plant is more sophisticated and less labour intense. So they decided to shut down Noida plant and keep just Rajasthan plant. Rajasthan plant doesn't have the machinery to manufacture cars upwards of city. I think that's the reason they dropped their plan to launch Vezel.
I think its the taxation that is killing brands like Honda. I think Civic n upwards all models were CKD units.. i.e, they import parts and assemble them at their Noida facility.
Most shocking thing is that they still sell Civics, Vezel n all in Pakistan. Its the taxation that is pushing the prices upwards in India and they r unable to price their products properly.

Me as a buyer if I want to buy a small car i will check there premium cars & how good it is then only i will go for that company…..so in my opinion if they have some proper premium cars then people will try for the small cars of them

I planned to buy a car in 2020 and my choice was Honda and I booked a car. Then I could feel that Honda wasn't delivering much with their engines as rightly pointed out in the video. On top of that, I had driven a jazz which was pathetic on hilly terrain. Then I bought Kia Seltos and rest is history. Let's hope that the company revives in the country. Personally, I haven't skipped any of ur videos, irrespective of it's length.
