OMG you mean you actually kept your device over 2 years like a normal person lol

ZA1REX

still rockin with my 3 YO iphone8+ this 2023. awesome phone

Ryan Lennox-Bradley

I can see why you’d stick with a 13 pro max,
But 60hz? Rlly?
I see a 60hz display and just die. It’s so terrible
I bought my 14 pro max outright so paying continuously isn’t a problem

Im still using the 11 Pro Max in 2023 , no need to upgrade yet as it does basically everything the 14 Pro Max does , the only thing im missing out on is Pro motion but i can live without that for now.

The battery life of the 12 Pro Max was terrible

Me too

First 3 minutes of this video are just pure golden facts of truth. Specially the camera part, you got no idea how many people I know that have the new iPhone and Galaxy phones and still take awful pictures that look like 💩

Sophie macquet

Using a 12 pro and bought the 13 pro and 14 pro but can’t see any “benefit” so sold them off and sticking with the 12 pro

Ghost

If new tech makes you happy go for it. I’ve upgraded yearly for almost a decade and haven’t ever regretted it ❤📱

What About changing the phone while you still can get some value out of it (trade-in value still considerable, battery life degradation is yet acceptable) ?, I used to upgrade every 4 years / iterations, until my phone was no longer upgradeable but then I started to think about trade-in value

Outerspaces

It’s not really an old phone yet..there are people still buying the iPhone 11 and still using as old as the iPhone 6s.

grandtheftauto1233

I still use a XS lol phone is so fast these days you don’t need upgrades anymore

Landsy Pierre

Still have the 11 pro and still is relevant as the first day. Even if the battery capacity has gone down 78%

CFC44

I completely agree, there is barley any difference, and the only reason I upgraded to the 14 pro is because I wanted to downsize to a smaller model. In terms of experience, they are exactly the same.

Message to apple : FOCUS ON SIRI AGAIN

I really wanted the iPhone 14 pro max when it first dropped last September because of the dynamic island but after weighing the benefits and cons it just wasn’t worth it in the end and I’m more than happy with my iPhone 13 Pro Max in sierra blue it’s fast the battery is phenomenal on this device it looks great and gives me a great experience and I’m saving money 😅 so even though I wanted the new iPhone I realized that I don’t need it and the feeling that I get when a new iPhone drops is just for that moment it will pass 😂😂😅

I upgraded to the 14 pro max from the Xs max so that was 4 years for me so it was time. But completely agree don't upgrade every year not worth it!!

Musya

I would buy pro iphone only because of 120hz, 120 Hz is amazing feeling

I'm keeping mine after I pay it off.

Thanks for the video 🙂 I personally stay two years behind on tech. My current phone is iphone 2020 SE which I bought for $200 13 months ago. I am going to sell it now for $150. So it cost me only $50 to use it 13 months. I just bought an iPhone 11 for $275 in excellent condition, just a little over one year old. I'll probably sell it next year for $200 and buy an iPhone 12 Pro for around $375. And then after that I'll upgrade to the iPhone 14 Pro for around $400 or so. Ends up costing me a little over $100 per year to keep upgrading my iphone instead of $300 per year if I had bought the latest each year.
