I read rumors about Samsung considering a range of foldables under their A-series line. A smaller foldable with a Snapdragon 778G chipset or alike would tempt me to get one!

Shini Kyokai

The real reason Samsung keeps making foldable phones is so that the technology gets good enough so that one day they can supply them to Apple and make mad bank off of them.

Lyndon Michael

laptops please 🥹

Random footages

Oh hijabi muslim

Waluo Abu obaid

a big like to her obligation to wear the hejab

Answer to your title….. Because people keep buying them lol… Overpriced and just stupid

Miniyi Art

it make them stand out compare to other

Johann Pascual

I have the Fold3… it's great but it's just TOO big and heavy. If it's half as thin and light… that's the dream.

adhisara kridowasono

Why Apple is too lazy on working on foldable? Because they are actually a software company than a hardware. Apple still depend on other companies on the hardware, it's means the innovation also depend on the hardware innovation made by those company. Foldable is technically about how to revolutionize the display technology which Apple still depend on other company. Unless Samsung and Apple wprking on the good deal on display manufacturer, the we can see foldable Apple. Long time ago we saw a big fight between those company on who copy who, who is more innovate tha other. Today, we see the truth. Which company is in consistent progress and which one is too lazy to innovate.

ProjectPamaPhd

Apple will make a foldable phone in 5 years and it will be considered "revolutionary".

John Miller

I have nothing against Samsung… except their stupid commercials that keep playing with “OK Google”. That’s NOT OK. It keeps activating my smart speakers.

After the demise of the Blackberry, for which I was a decades long user, I have been trying to decide what is next for me. I love the idea of a flip phone, but costs and other downsides have stopped me from making a purchase. As I am retired on a fixed income, price is a big factor. For now, I will continue on with my basic Motorola flip phone which I only use for texting and calls, but I am growing tired of its overall lack of capabilities. Still, I cannot afford buy something that has not been time-tested. I will continue to research the evolution of flip phones. I truly enjoyed your analysis.

I hope Samsung releases a tablet with the Fold size with more battery and a flagship processor.

Adin Nugroho

Still using Flat Phone at the moment and I'm not Regret not using Foldable

Alexander Belov

Love my Fold 3

Kyle

The folds are great, I love mine and couldn't imagine going back. They need to work on a few things but I'm fine with pushing the tech forward, just gotta get the insurance 😁

Dean Wright

Apple is garbage.

Ron Clark

Foldable translucent tablets on WestWorld.

Martin Findeisen

the Samsung Flip 3 is really cool but the camera is not that good yet, as soon as the camera on smartphones with the format is the same as on my Pixel 6 Pro, I'll get a flip phone, no matter the brand. (except Apple they will never see a dime from me)

Dragonfly

Apple may not release things because other companies do but the opposite is definitely true. When apple releases a foldable iphone is when foldables will become will become mainstream and all other phone makers will jump on the bandwagon. No bigger apple sheep than its competitors. And yes i do realize i just stated the obvious so no one needs to write a snarky comment about it. I just felt like talking.

My cons: too expensive, low battery life, probably too heavy, laptops have a bigger screen (for prolonged work), no included stylus, too many moving parts for a phone, and generally unnecessary. With that said, if the Galaxy Fold 4 were under $600 I'd check it out in a store.

WordWar Iii

FOLDABLE TABLET 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Stormchaser 08

it's simple… if you don't use a tablet in your daily life, you will see a folding phone as pointless

phonepup_mk8DX

Does the outer display of the z flip offer anything an AOD doesn’t?

Jesus Navarrete

Z fold 3 was incredible this past year for me. If I'm honest I would buy the huawei if it was available in the states cause it looks better but Samsung can make the fold better they're just being cheap when it comes to hardware

Durga Prasad

Samsung is first and Apple is best. Samsung always innovates but rushes the products to be first in market. Also Samsung is not as perfect and zero issues as Apple hardware. Still I like Samsung innovation but they should concentrate on quality. Apple waits till the tech gets refined with no issues then adopt it. They did the same with OLED.

Matthew Howell

Speaking as someone who has bad eyesight, the most important thing to me is a phone with a large screen. My current phone is a Galaxy S22 Ultra, and the screen size works well for me. I am in my 50s, and I don't need a phone with lots of bells and whistles. The primary things I use my phone for are calls, sms, email, and keeping a calendar and to-do list. Occasionally, I will check the weather or do other random things with my phone.

If Samsung lowered the cost of their Galaxy Fold, and also made it more durable, I would definitely be interested in buying one.

Akideoni

Frankly, I did rather they just flex their screen on disposables paper like computers, given the trend they are progressing towards.

sunny m.

if the z flip 4 is really that much better than the 3 it could end my iphone streak…

xxnike629xx

I think until Apple makes their version of the foldable smartphone, we're probably going to see incremental updates to durability, battery life, camera quality, etc.

tnductai

simply put, because it's not Apple

Misael Muñiz

Simple Samsung is an innovator

krishna kanth

Apple takes time to copy .

Atomik LYT

Immature tech that doesn't deserve to risk your money with it; even on a wearable level🤷

Adar

CNET I can't be happy enough you have a Hijabi Muslim woman doing videos now. I love the representation and the video was really good too. Subscribed.

I have had iPhones for years. Latest was 12 pro max, since going to the fold 3 there is no way I can go back to a normal phone. Specially for work, I got everything on the z fold 3 . I can use the pen, write emails and read pdfs confortably. Apple needs to work on it. It's truly a no brainer once you get used to it

Seymore Fact

🇺🇸 my next phone will be the foldable phone! Samsung will improve their phones, as always.

Jing

I'm not paying 1800 dollars for a foldable~! Getting a tablet and a phone is way more practical and cheaper!

jumbeaux1

At least Apple can't claim they invented foldables anymore.

MidwestWind

Why are there 2 hosts?

Doug Unfunny

can we bring back sliding keyboards to smartphones like the droid?

D COSBY

I don't care about folding I want a front/back screen

Lito Larj

why? CUZ THEY'RE COOOOOL! LOL

James Fiegel

I have the last Apple mini….and will be going to a foldable phone when it busts….portability in pocket is important to me…

Dunn Cardona

"As time unfolds" she then proceeds to do the opposite and folds her phone
Haha

Truthspiller

Because samsung knows people are sheeps and will pay stupid prices for features that are useless 🤦‍♂️
