Preventing people from suing when the insurance companies refuse to pay on a policy just victimizes the homeowners and gives them no recourse. Once again the Republicans choose corporations over people. I am not uneducated about these issues—i lived in Florida for 20 years and went they 4 hurricanes. Citizens cancelled our policy when we were “in the box” and we had to scramble to get insurance. Supposedly they could not do that but they did. They make me sick.

No it will not help at all for insurance in the State of Florida. Ins. Co. are not dumb. They were leaving before Ian, because of a potential for Ian. He will not be the last.
