Samsung phones are joke. Massively paid YouTube propaganda with staged wins. If you get a 1000+$ phone with no charger inside and a company that claims,that it's all about to keep planet clean…you gotta know that the greediness of that company has reached its peak levels. Years ago Apple removed the 3.5mm for "not enough space" reasons,but we all knew it was all about the money reasons. Samsung specs on paper are top. In reality bloatware cuts them specs in half straight off the shelf. You got predetermined battery and SoC life,which means your flagship will be laggy and battery death in 4 years. Oneplus,Oppo,Motorola or Xiaomi. Samsung never again.
I just hope they shrink down the chin so it's the same as the top. The chin really ruins the symmetry for me.
I will go for the fully loaded ultra.
I have no idea what the 200MP camera would be good for or why you think the higher number of pixels is an upgrade…

If only Samsung made their own image processing unit like other company do, that a huge upgrade, otherwise i don't think they can compete
LCD Green / White screen issue is the major drrawback that holding me to pursue Samsung phones… i had a S7 edge and S20plus.. both having screen issue.. 😌
I still prefer the edge curved cutting on S22 Ultra. Hope Samsung will retain that. Easier to navigate with gestures function.
Is this guy seriously not aware that all three models have leaked months ago so we already know exactly what the phones will look like?
I really hope they phase out the curved display with the S23 Ultra or at the very least make it barely noticable. Gorgeous and beautiful design wise but functionality can be an issue sometimes. Curved displays are much more prone to drop damage even with a case and it's just a hassle finding the right screen protector for it. It's sorta why I went from my Note 20 Ultra to the S22 Plus.
Listening to your expectations and hopes, i am 100% sure you are going to be disappointed
In terms of design Matte frame and matte glass. My S22 was scuffed and chipped faster than the previous 3 generations. Not sure if it was just a bad batch but the glossy frame picks up scratches super easy.
Can i have a stylus on the s23+ ? Not all people have big hands for the ultra, nor do they want a big phone.

All the Samsung-affiliated channels pushing the usual spiel. It is clear the S23U is just an iterative upgrade and not worthy of all this bluster. Most of the "added features" will be coming to all Android flagships in 2023, so anyone watching this, do not fall for the usual Samsung marketing by channels that clearly support that brand.
i have made my peace with the removal of headphone jack and got myself a galaxy buds 2 (pretty awesome buds with tons of customization). however, i'm still not over the sd card removal. that was a dick move on Samsung's part.
Everybody wants the ultra to be a normal phone. Doesn't make much sense, get a plus. They changed that for you, isn't that good enough lol.
The current wide and main camera rock on the s22 Ultra, but the others are soft and look like a camera from 2007. Muddy looking

Flat screen. Rounded corners. Side-mounted FPS. ‘Came from the S21U, minimal upgrades for me to go with the S22U. Waiting for more S23U news before considering parting ways with my IP14 Promax.
I need them to get rid of the curve screen.
Improve all the secondary cameras to 50mp and improve the video software to match or better the iPhone 14 pro max
if they don't use Exynos SOC in the global version that would be a huge win.

I have S22 ultra and love it
I actually know what it looks like, colors, specs, etc. As someone who works for Samsung on the marketing side, I like seeing “leaks” or potential concept 😅
Bring back the sd card slot so I don't have to pay a premium for bigger storage. It's a ripoff.
First time ever I'll be ditching a phone after only 1 year. This exynos s22 ultra sucks a** and ba**z. Extremely disappointed. So much money for such an average performing mid range disguised as a flagship. Samsung really needs a massive lawsuit for their deceptive marketing.
I'm going to keep my S22 Ultra until 2024. Unless Samsung gave me better trading offers for my phone. Happy New Year 2023!

I went from s20 Ultra to s21 Ultra and to s22 Ultra. I guess I will continue to the the s23 ultra hoping to see better battery life with the new chip set

I'm still enoying my S20 Ultra 5G, I don't see a benifit to upgrading as of yet.
I'd just like to see an option without a glass back. I like how the Pixel reuses plastics on the back of them; I would like to see those options on Samsung.
S23+ pls with almost Ultra Specs if not i will just go for the S23 model only.

You don't need Qualcomm to answer whether S23 will be an upgrade to the S22. Any one who knows 23 to come after 22 can answer that question.
The real question is, how much of an upgrade S23 is over the S22, not whether it will be an upgrade at all

I haven't been able to upgrade because of inconsistencies with performance, plus I prefer 4G. 5G isn't an improvement and presents risks.
