interesting results, from other videos it seems like iPhone does have better portrait video and video overall, mostly colours, brighter, as well as night time video ( I've seen a scene panning over a night harbour and the difference was massive ). Also shame samsung uses their stupid HDR instead of dolby vision, literally even most laptops, TVs and Instagram uses Dolby Vision

Xiaomi 13 Pro video color and details + Stability of S23 Ultra would be the best combination. And still images, kudos to xiaomi for massively improving their cameras. No more budget flagship but only on SOC, they are now making a real flagship with flagship grade cameras. Would love to go back to Xiaomi this year!

Stabilization on xiaomi is amazingly perfect. The brightness is better controlled by galaxy. Iphone falls in the middle of both hence not worth it in these areas.
I change my opinion on brightness. The galaxy and iphone darkens the screen and fails to capture colors in most scenarios which is not the case with xiaomi.
Xiaomi gets the points in both.

The S23 Ultra wins in sound and stabilization. The latter is actually underestimated – I love visiting autoshows and my prior experience with my old Galaxy S9 always showed every 5~6 shots being blurred due to hand shaking during the event, but this year with my new S23U not a SINGLE picture I've taken was ever blurry.
The Xiaomi 13 Pro looks the most natural while the iPhone tends to be the best "processed" with skin tones and exposure/noise reduction.
no matter what gear you use, if you don't have the talent, it's still useless. a professional photographer can even get a good picture out of a toy camera.
think that the iPhone 14 Pro in photography and video is more real than the other two phones, and thank you for your beautiful and upscale content

Overall you can't go wrong with any of those; I agree that S23 Ultra is first by a pinch, but also coming from previous Ultra, I'll never get a Samsung and its bloated software and over-sharped images again sadly. Also user experience; want simplicity that just works? iOS. Want an Android that's playful and fun to use? MIUI. Want to have 3 apps for same thing and ecosystem that's juuust a bit worse than vanilla one (google assistant >> bigsby)? Get the Samsung.
This is nitpicking, I'll end my comment as I started, can't go really wrong with any. Get the one that looks most appealing to you while using it.

This video is the most genuine camera comparison with unbiased review. But only one flaw, Mr judged iPhone to be the better Selfie camera here, but unfortunately though it was more contrasty and rich, the skin tones were over done with reddish artificial toning,, and so by all means Samsung did far better with better exposure in harsh sunlight conditions and a better dynamic range. I witnessed Samsung hailed as the new king all departments except the microphone, it's the worst

The problem with xiaomi camera software is that it overexposes everything and details are very low. That's why most xiaomi phones give much better results with gcam than stock camera.
