Less than 5km south of the Great Pyramid is a once spectacular structure in ruin. Zawyet el Aryan could be an ancient 4th dynasty pyramid or a spectacular solar temple. The site was even used in the 1955 movie ‘Land of the Pharoahs’.
But today, this large, ancient complex has been left to ruin and now sits inside a military complex, built all over, and the archaeology is unloved, overgrown and unpreserved.
Years ago this was a site with unique architectural features with incredible stonework, but today it’s all but forgotten.

now is forbidden to enter and I see that you don't know way, there have a portal, yes.
Military? Must be serious stuff down there, like the 7 layers underground seen on Gaia.
Military overrules everything for a certain group of people.
And unnoticed for plain sight.
I have a feeling it holds amazing secrets, and some people don't want you to know about it. 🤔🧐🤨😕☹️
Thank you for these rare photos, valuable info. Site is lost to history and investigation. Really inexcusable since the country is 90%? desert, one would think a military base could be located just about anywhere else. So amazing those curved objects, wonder how that was achieved? Strange and haunting, (music, too) as if designed long before the Pyramid Age. Great short, always fun and interesting.♥️🤗
And military base there now? Makes one wonder what was found there?
Why build over it when there's plenty of room right beside it
Why would they pick that spot for military base?
It’s probably a well
Really feel something is there
Aryan that word means something still and everything to a madman named hitler
Never heard of this place
Surrounded by a military base… typical…
Great Pyramid of Giza, in Cairo, the capitol of Egypt.
And there was the residue of a black liquid inside the tub
So many naive conspiracy theorists…. Like other countries thst have been occupied for thousands of years such as Italy, Turkey, Greece, Iran, India, China, its impossible to build here without uncoverinv archaeological sites. That they are not preserved is "normal".
It being on a military base says it all! Something that don't fit the narrative was found!
That's horrible! They built a freaking military base around it and they couldn't even keep it nice while it was enclosed and kept off from the public run by the government!! WTF
looks like a cover up to me
It seems that the counter lever theory is not taken seriously. Jean-Pierre Houdin said it, this is how they moved gigantic blocs. It seems that in most large construction like that, there is a large chamber with those kind of features. Making this a ground level one, and probably the start of a pyramid. They found a new empty area in the great pyramids that seems to be something like that, but higher.
A real shame.
There’s reportedly evidence of very high temperatures and signs of great force/shock in there, and I heard that that’s why the Egyptian authorities don’t want it properly investigated. It was even used as a rubbish dump in recent years. People like Zawi Hawass have a lot to answer for. Disgraceful. If it doesn’t fit their narrative or if it raises difficult questions, they want it buried. Literally, in this case. IMHO
