also, pokemon duel was AMAZINg, I played at least a year or two

I didn't know Orcs must die Unchained was dead till I seen this video. Sad but I also don't feel all that bad as the game died to me when they decided to make the pvp to PvsSemi-P in that both teams played on the same map but you played minion cards/spells to make it harder for the other team instead both teams on the same map where you can see and fight each other.
In short its like they took the mirrored map where both team/players can see and fight each other, cut it in half, then made it so it was survive waves while fending off the minions the other team was playing, along with spells to hinder your team from winning and vice versa.
The issue with Pokémon being a card game is that it kinda satisfies no one a casual audience isn’t going to bring interesting in that a the hard core audience wants a more competitive team building Pokémon game and that’s already a thing with Pokémon showdown, making a turn based strategy game into a card game is really pushing into the yu gi yo, while both card games are different with trap cards and swapping out Pokémon it still doesn’t have a real reason to be a card game my brother loves Pokémon but he says that he would rather play Pokémon show down because you can fight people online in a competitive ranked system and you’re almost completely feel to make what ever kind of team you want.
Also battle born was fun to mess around in but if it wanted to do well then they should have skipped the story entirely, they tried to make a borderlands like comedy for the story but the jokes weren’t too fun and only had 1 use before it go old. It also didn’t help that one of the devs were completely open on says that it will destroy overwatch. Threatening a well established game with a big community is asking to be attacked when you’re releasing a new game that doesn’t focus on your core audience, sometimes controversy can do worse than good.
TWA is not shutting down. They're relaunching in China, and possibly globally as well afterwards. Published by Tencent IIRC. It was FAR from being boring. Just not your cup of tea. I had the most fun I've ever had in any MOBA in that game, and it had a lot of potential. Calling out lack of mechanics in a game released in beta for barely a few months is kind of absurd.

Pokemon Duel is shutting down? Damn, it's the only mobile game I spent some cash on. It was based on the Pokemon Trading Figure Game, which died due to being a bit expensive to produce and never caught on, considering Pokemon TCG has always being the strong point of the franchise (aside from the main game entries, ofc). Pokemon Duel was a chance to play the TFG, and I loved it! It's focus on positioning on the board and abilities was very nice and somewhat balanced. I loved it, it surely be missed!
Durango !! I really love that game although my phone is old and have trouble play it so I need to play it on emulator. Its feel more complicated that other mobile game but a lot of customization with tons of skill tree although in the end you can take it all.
R.I.P. Wildstar. I was really into it after I got bored on ff14.
I had actually planned to checkout breach cause it looked amazing..buut I forgot about it annd now that I am reminded of it just damn

Last i remember Happy Wars became pay to win. I think warrior or beserker class is what msde battles one sided. Killed the free to play fun one you play it long enough. Only reason i quit it on 360 back in the day.

Every time I got MMO hunting I am constantly reminded of the fall of Wildstar, I wouldn't say I was a hardcore player but I did do all the content in it at least once, including the raids and PvP, and I keep thinking why no other game had such great character customization T-mogging. My favorite part about the game was getting gear and making my character look like I want to, not to mention the animations were so crisp and the art style was damn near timeless. A lot of these MMOs died for a good reason, but wildstar had the saddest fizzle. I know it was because of the ludicrous content drought near the end where their last hoorah was daily questing hub in a bloody snow level, but the potential was there and I hope one day someone will pick it back up again or host some private servers.
I knew almost all games on this list except happy wars but that just not bothers me.
Sad to see games dies, some deserves but some not but I believe many will come back someday in some form like how old games did this. Asherons call and Camelot online are examples of this also there are many more game which might reappear. I don't like when a lot of works just wasted so all games what created actually should find the way to become real fun. When I was younger and the MMO fever started I have had no money to pay sub fees because my parents does not wished to contribute payments to me so most of the sub fee mmo game was skipped by me so I have had no chance to play games like city of heroes. Instead I played champions online which is similar but not as fun.
Wildstar was charming and I played a little bit but not really had the time to play mmos so it just died before I could decide to do another run with it.
Firefall was nice also, but sadly some stuff was badly made so that game sadly died too.
And still there are a lot of games which on the verge of losing their playerbases.
