Everything you need to know about Hyzon truck
Hyzon Motor, a US firm, has launched hydrogen-powered fuel cell trucks for heavy vehicle testing. It has recently signed a trial deal with Total Transport Services, a port trucking firm, to offer Class 8 heavy-duty fuel cell electric vehicles. To know more about it, keep watching! But before that, make sure to smash the like and subscribe button! Let’s dig into the video!
The hydrogen-powered fuel cell trucks are built on a Freightliner Cascadia chassis from 2022. The vehicle has a capability of 600 horsepower and a range of 643 kilometers. It has a battery capacity of 110 kilowatt hour. The truck’s fuel cell output is 120 kilowatt, and the hydrogen in the fuel cell is approximately 50 to 70 Kilogram.
The vehicles can reach speeds of up to 88.5 kilometers per hour and can be expanded to 120 kilometers per hour as per the customer’s request.
They include vehicle intelligence features such as a backup alarm, obstacle detection, blind-spot recognition, lane guiding, and digital stability control. The trucks can lift or hook up to 41 tonnes of gross total vehicle weight.

I started to watch this video and they mention Total Transport Services, Hyzon semi trucks are not mentioned in their website, other manufactures "Yes" as Zero emission vehicles???? I stopped watching this video.
We need a Hydrogen economy and the Energy companies can make as much money off of it as fossil fuels.
Hydrogen can be generated locally. NO exploration, NO building platforms, NO drilling, NO processing, NO transportation… NO WARS.
Let's make the Middle East swim in there oil……………………
Until the ROI comes down, I don't see this as a viable solution.
NO. Global warming is mass hysteria on steroids.
I tell you wath if they make trucks to ruan on B.S power will be no carbon and it's plenty of B.S
The hydrogen for the truck is made from electricity (or should be) and the truck converts the hydrogen back into electricity to power the motor. I wonder how much energy is lost during this process? Proof that hydrogen should not be regarded as a primary fuel but as a means of storing energy, like batteries. The sad fact is that 98 percent of the world's hydrogen requirements is still produced from fossil fuels; coal, oil and natural gas. Large scale green hydrogen production just does not currently exist. Truck manufacturers like this are putting the cart before the horse; looking for uses for hydrogen before the demand or the efficient production methods are in place.
YA CAN'T FIX STUPID. HYDROGEN THE ONLY WAY. GREENER THAN GREEN.
