Carp of over 50 years old are hard to find these days but its the old ones that excite me the most. Nothing last forever so adding a few really old, crusty carp to the album feels like a race against time. On this trip we found some antique carp and had a real red letter session, one I won’t forget in a hurry.

Loved this, I’m Walthamstow born & bred and fished there many years ago. Still close to my heart as I work at the Res site at the water treatment works in Coppermill Lane behind the No.5 Great vlog Mike, some lovely fish, can’t believe that Italian is still kicking about ! I might even start taking the rods to work & have a little reminisce based on this😂 Did you go to Tommys ? 🍳🥓
