An investigation is underway after an alleged road rage incident resulted in a shooting on Wednesday evening.
Ohio State Highway Patrol officials say that a semi driver was shot by a cargo van driver on Interstate 71 southbound near the Richland/Morrow County line at around 6 p.m.
911 calls reveal that the driver of the semi-truck shot at the cargo van after the van had allegedly side-swiped him. The victim was shot in the arm and was bleeding heavily following the incident.
EMS officials took the semi-truck driver to a local hospital with minor injuries.
It is unknown if any arrests have been made in connection to this incident. The investigation remains ongoing at this time.

Call BS on the driver of the smaller car. Thankfully there are dash cams on these trucks usually. What would shooting the truck accomplish? It would cause him to crash into another car if he’d hit him in the head. And as far as not trying to kill him. Um look how many bullet holes are in this truck. Instead of his gun, he should’ve called 911 then. Not after you’ve filled it with at least 10 gunshots.
If he was trying to get his attention maybe beep the horn ????
Some people should not be allowed to carry a gun. Trouble is how do you weed them out of the the responsible people?
Wasn't trying to kill him yet the truck is full of holes? Yeah he's going on a long vacation 😂
Road rage is stupid
😳 This guy is insane!
The law doesnt care what his excuse is… he's going to JAIL.
