Maybe when Red was very young her mother and father and the rest of her family taught her to hunt for her own food and I think she is not just teaching Maise and Jacob i think that she is teaching Blue as well you know when Blue is ready to be on his own and look after himself and his future family because animals in our real world teach their children valuable skills so they can look after themselves and their own babies someday
