The MFR is the latest in the nitro-powered 4WD monster truck, and this one is packing the vast experience of Kyosho designers with more than 30 years of nitro racing experience.
The MFR features a rugged yet lightweight designed that’s powered by high-performance 3.0cc nitro-burning engine – the GXR18. The engine includes an on-board electric starter, which makes starting easier. Full independent suspsension features high-capacity Big Bore shocks to absorb the bumps. A two speed transmission provides strong bottom end pulling power when in first gear, but when it automatically switches to 2nd gear, the speed evelope is extended to hit speeds up to 40 mph. A transmission mounted disc brakes gives the MFR strong and consistent stopping power.
A new QRC gearbox is included, which features forward, reverse, and a unique neutral feature. The gears are selected via a third channel on the transmitter. Selecting neutral allows easy starting and warm-up because the truck will remain stationary until a forward or reverse gear is selected. The gearbox also features all metal gears, which combined with the metal gears in the rest of the drivetrain, makes for a super-durable drive system.
the MFR comes complete factory assembled. Simply apply some decals, install optional AA-batteries, and then pour in your choice of 20-percent nitro fuel and you’re ready to go.
The lightweight MFR is among the lightest monster trucks ever made, which gives it added performance over the heavier competition.

this is a nice Monster, looks like Revo 3.3…
man you can really jump this thing
Yes, it includes a two-speed transmission, plus a remote shifting forward/neutral/reverse transfer case.
Due to it's long suspension travel and large tires, its suited to any type of terrain.
Do they have a 2 speed transmission?
it doesnt mean Mega Force Replacement?
is this beast good for bashing to ( on the road or grass) or will it only be good for dirt
@35-40 mph.
How fast is it?
3.00 super hot!
how are the diffs in these trucks?
@2006christophe
De rien
@gers140
The engine should not be smoking, but if it's dirty and covered with fuel and oil, perhaps that's what's causing the smoking. If the engine is clean and it's smoking, then the fuel mixture may be too lean.
@gers140 yess:P
is it normal for the engine to smoke after 5 minutes of driving
@ander758
MFR stands for Mad Force Racing. Basically an evolution of the Mad Force name, but it doesn't share a single part with the Mad Force truck.
@MrFlyers101
Sorry I missed this comment until now. I would check with amainhobbies first. There are a number of dealers that carry Kyosho, but no guarantee that this particular item will be in stock. If you're unable to find it, and you're a US resident, you can contact the customer service at Kyosho America and they can help you.
its my first nitro rc car….full satisfaction and the spped make me lose cntrol…:-)
no max speed is 80 km/h
@TheAzi222
Yes, This is well within the capabilities of this truck. It's quite fast.
I have a mfr its a fantastic car but what means mfr?
There's a lot of information that's needed to help you, but your first step should be to contact customer service to see if they can walk your through a few basic steps to help narrow down the problem. If the glowplug doesn't glow, then the plug is dead, or the battery you're using. Be sure the lead wire is properly attached to the electrode on the glowplug.
Max speed is around 40 mph as it comes out of the box.
What max speed??? Have a Kyosho lazer zx5 stock.
