DISCLAIMER (Of course, I’d have one 😁)
Hey, you might think that this info makes me your lawyer, but it doesn’t and I’m not. Sorry, but I AM NOT YOUR LAWYER unless we have an engagement agreement. I am just providing public information here, like a library does, and am not providing you with legal advice about your situation. So, it would be totally unreasonable for you to conclude we have an attorney-client relationship just because you’re viewing this information.

I had this problem with my mate once. Just broke his wrist and he gave me it
NEVER lend more money than you are comfortable never getting back. And never borrow from anyone you are not willing to lose as a friend.
What I've "loaned" my daughter have exceeded small claims limits
It really does suck when people do this to you. They really take advantage of your kindness.
My mom still owes me $2500 and that's even AFTER I've forgiven previous debt she owes me. I'm cutting her out of my life first chance i get ugh
him: Heh what are you gonna do about it? Call a lawyer?
me: whips out a gun
they say chump change when they have to pay you back but they forget that they would be in deep shit if it weren't for that "chump change"
"Bruce."
My mom still hasn’t given me the $20 back I owe her 😭
I learned a few years ago that if you loan out money just forget about it….they needed it and you helped them out. Made everything better…..of you get it back that's a fun bonus in the future. If you don't you know you helped someone in a time of need.
This isn't how small claims court works. If you don't have a written or recorded legal agreement, that the money is a loan and will be paid back in full by a specific date, then you cannot sue someone over it.
If you turn up to court like "hey he owes me $500 I promise" they'll laugh you out of court. No matter how small it is 😂
And then after you get to claims you still have to get a collected with a sheriff and that's really the hard part
Yeah I don't lend anyone money unless I trust them. And I mean like, REALLY trust them.
Shut up dude, go do lawyer shit,u been served never show up lol,a piece of paper is no big deal.
I would've just made sure nobody ever lends them money and turn their friends against them
if you dont have the defendents address how can i serve them the papers? can i just find them and give it to them in person ?
I mean a gun would’ve have changed that whole scenario
Bet
80 Thousand Grand
There's really nothing you can do unless you made an actual mutual agreement through a paper or got a paper certified at a bank of the deal from both parties.
Slicker seeing this vid shaking rn
I own a small computer shop and i did 3 months work of networking and wiring for a restaurant, I charged them 4500 once the job was completed. They refused to pay me so i took them to small claims. The judge dismissed my case and threw out my evidence and gave the shitty restaurant owner the win without any hesitation. Im pretty sure my local courthouse judge is paid to side with other cases.
As a semi professional 14 year old i can tell you a baseball bat with a sock over it works faster
If I loan family money I definitely don’t expect to get that shit back
Don't you need documentation saying you lend the person money
I recognize that background song 😶
Most lawyers know that payed is not the correct spelling for paid…
