I say a Dollar General truck today turn right out from a Dollar General store in McMinnville, Tn. He turned the corner & dropped his trailer tandems down in a ditch about 4 to 5 foot deep. This pulled the driver's side tandem drive axles up about 6 feet in the air. Set the trailer down on the drive axles on the passenger side of the tractor. I think all that kept it from flipping on over was the landing gear on the right side was stuck in the ground. It was funny watching the driver walking around taking pictures on his phone while I assume he was talking to his company. There is no way a 53 ft. trailer could make this turn because it is a real skinny road. All he had to do to not get in a bind like he was in, was to turn left instead of right & go about 40 feet to a gas station parking lot & go through the lot & turn right on the road he was trying to get on. Makes me wonder where these guys heads are at. They must be sitting on them as their problems are really obvious. I think he turned too fast & it broke his neck, LOL. Got a couple of pictures on my wife's cell phone. I don't have 1 of them damn things since I retired 16 years ago from the road.
I just did a year at a large food service delivery company. By far hardest trucking job I've ever known to exist. Can we collectively agree to exempt them from these videos because of the nasty places and brutal conditions they have to function in? Hats off to my Sysco dudes.

In my 11 years of driving I can honestly say; the sad thing is, 99.9 percent of drivers who smash into a truck will run away. It’s happened to me three times. And they almost always are colored guys who do it. Be careful out there guys and keep those cameras on. There’s no real men anymore. I’ve installed cameras on my mirrors too.

I can tell you what happened when the truck exploded the diesel engine actually started to consume the fumes through the air intake and because a diesel engine is so versatile and can run on so many different fuels it actually became a runaway diesel engine take a look at the stack on the cab it probably hit six or 7000 RPMs until the final ignition which was when the engine ran so fast it started to shoot flames out of the exhaust And there is your ignition source the rest is a big ball of fire. Unlike gasoline engines which regulate the amount of air. Diesel engines are controlled by the flow of fuel and the airflow is unlimited so all diesel engines are at risk of being a runaway diesel engine if the fuel source which can be anything from oil, diesel, or gases through the air intake becomes uncontrollable
Back when I drove a truck and I drove one for 29 year's 99 percent of the driver's out there had common sense and now I see there's probably about 5 percent with any common sense and I keep asking the same question over and over again how on god's green earth do those idiot's ever get a CDL and I hope they cought the idiot that hit that truck and took off and took his CDL away from him for life
