Incredible Redfin Perch Footage Eating Baits!
Well this video the aim was to capture some incredible perch attacks using small baitfish and I did just that! I spend a whole session positioning small baitfish in front of an under water camera with the aim of getting up close and personal with these wolves of the river to watch them hunt and devour baitfish in their natural environment! A bit of a change of pace from the perch hitting lures under water I just made. This really does showcase the aggression and stalking / hunting ability of the redfin perch! Oh and I’ve started filming another pike one too!

Cool to see the Barbel and Chubb down there. I’d love to see more vids of other fish feeding in the rivers. Great way to understand and envisage what might be going on out of sight.

Learn so much from these under water videos.. Interesting the smaller fish take the minnows from behind.. And the bigger roach head first.. Have you tried tail or dorsel hooking the roach for a better hook up with those bigger perch.. Keep em coming Chris great videos..

Just replicating nature. May upset some but would like to see a live pike bait session to really understand how the larger pike control numbers.

Would love to see live and dead bates for pike in the winter including a clear vidio from beginning to end how you rig up for dead bates using a float for pike or something similar. Thanks so much. When your doing your piking dead bait video will you please include your full terminal that you trust and use in getting into piking but more on the lures I want to try deadbaitting and live baiting but not knowing the right gear I know the information is out there but I’d prefer to know and use your knowledge of the situation 😅

Could you please leave the focus on the remaining fish in some shots – in some shots the alpha fish takes the bait and there are 3 others all on station. I’d love to see footage showing how they react as the main fish and is reeled upwards – often some follow the hooked fish, others don’t – do they stay on station or run for cover

Try this get a dead fish erspp it up on chicken wire slash bit all over and sink it with a rock. Then watch 100dcof little fish. Then this attracts big fish with will come back after the first time to feed on the live fish. Perch will come in and feed on the live fish with their heads to busy to look.. Its cool to watch…
