Sea fishing on the Cornwall coast can offer some wonderful species to catch if you adapt what you are doing to the weather and tide conditions. Here I try and area of reef with lures to see what species I can find. Then adapt to fishing an area at anchor with some surprise underwater footage

So dependable… so solid. So honest. So much to look forward to. So much knowledge imparted. Missed a minute writing this comment… rewinding. Please keep it up.
All the species you just mentioned the slow jig will take the next catch was another species again lol. Quality!
I love wrass I haven't had the pleasure of catching any but really want to catch one they look unblevable them coco wrass are remarkable! And also the same with rays. Briliant video bud top stuff. All the best tight lines 🎣🎣🎣
Go the doggies
How did you know what kind of 🎣 fish you caught, before you got to look at it?? Amazing, that you knew, I guess that you knew because you’ve been fishing 🎣 for a long time. 😊
John any chance for microphone please ASAP thanks
In all my years of commercial and recreational fishing i have never seen a salt water leech, i wonder if they are native to UK waters or come in the discharge of bilge water from all the Tanker traffic heading into Falmouth?
The sea bed footage is fascinating.
Great fisherman and great videos. I spent years fishing with my Grandfather at sea. Learned so much from him. Be safe.
Bad weather means hungry fish. Good fishing to you bud!
That's a tight hair cut 👍👍
It’s called “fishing” and not “catching.”
There’s a thin line between “fishing” and “standing on a boat waving a stick around.”
I kid, love this channel.
"It's not always nice in Cornwall"…..but yer shure beating me! Was supposed to be out today for rockfish/ling cod on some shallow reefs, but? Maritime forecast for Depot Bay, Oregon:
12ft combined seas at 8 seconds, North wind building from 20knts to 30knts in the afternoon.
Poseidon says "NO!!". LOL
Hi John I know this an odd question but can I still get hold of a fish locker polo shirt as I can't find one on the shop?
Ha, loved the seagull comment 🤣. Despite it being a struggle, your skills and persistence paid off with some lovely rays and as luck would have it, you managed to avoid a blank on the doggies! 🤣🤣. Sorry, I couldn't resist 😉. Excellent video as always. 👍
I've used your locked in lead style rigs (using smaller weights though) to get some unweighted jelly lures down to the bottom round ours, instead of using weighted jig head type lures this summer. Worked at treat! 👍
On YouTube the dalsland canal Sweden fishing for giant pile enjoy.
We're are those huge fish Sweden Stockholm we have huge pike where we are from😁👍🚣
Just a question… Would it be better to cut the leeches in half before throwing them back or are they necessary for the ecosystem?
Everyone has days like this mate, nice to get an honest review. All the time I’m watching, you never stop imparting your knowledge, also supplying some great tips and tactics for us all to take onboard. Fantastic nights viewing, really appreciate all the work you put in John.
👏👏👏👍
Swings and roundabouts.Still great viewing and commentary.I watch those rod tips like a hawk and feel attached to the moment.Great work as usual.best wishes Barry Lambert.
Trips when you blank would be worth watching…the days when we catch nowt can be really useful for working out new tactics, baits to use etc.
I've never caught anything on lures only bait
Hello🖐👀
WOW I didn't know that there was a salt water Leach, I've never heard of them,
Love these videos but would love to see more underwater footage! ❤
Stumbled across your channel a couple of months back! Awesome content! Keep it up John!
Out of interest do you do any fishing trips on your boat? Full of knowledge and would be a pleasure to learn from! 👍🎣👍
Best Fish Catching
Memories as a child, at the Scillies out on the North Star with Guthrie, jigging feathers, lots of mackerel and pollock five at a time.

John have you ever caught porbeagle shark and what's your biggest mate?? Do you have any vids catching them on your channel?? I think I've seen most of your vids but can't remember seeing porbeagle in any of them.
I don't recall a Scorpion Fish on your channel John? I caught a cracker in Loch Leven off Ballachulish. We also got great codling and cooked them in Motorhome that night in Beer Batter.
well John i didnt see that float going down sorry chum
