Trucking & Fixing With Ryan

Thank you for watching! Check out my other semi truck and repair related videos on my channel page 👉🏻 http://bit.ly/35YO3kN

Ty Guy

I recently did a full suspension replacement on my 2000 jeep Cherokee because it still had all factory parts and when I pulled one of my rear shocks out after unbolting it it didn’t extend back out

Jesse Sward

Customer denied all work

Mark Ealy

Do you have a video on changing these I got get ready for winter

Wicked trucker

Yes !

W Barney

Shocks don't last for shit on a semi. I had trucks that would go from fla to Texas and back and they were toast

Adrian Perez

I chamge mine every 6 months because they got warranty

Plazma Wolf

Once a year bruh I’ve got the originals with 300k on them. Just slightly bouncy😂

Steve s

Once a year?? You’re high

Ray Bin

Doesn't show how to check for worn shocks.

Preston Steele

Tell me something I don't know. Once a year my butt

Devon

The problem is that the companies don't care, shocks are the farthest thing from their minds

ogre6969rh

Rule of thumb for shocks…after truck comes of the road feel them. If they’re cold they’re old! Cold shocks aren’t absorbing the road

JC FABTECH

My truck is a bit overdue. It’s got 46 year old shocks

Timmay 2k

Just replaced mine. Blew out when I just got out of Atlanta. $980 for all 6. Need to replace trailer shocks as well smh

Badger 1

They’re only good for about 100,000 miles but I see trucks that come in 8-10 years old and got the original shocks on em.

So they’re good for 8-10 years? 😉

Jeremy Koehn

Maybe you shouldn't be giving anyone advice on truck repair. Sounds like you run some hole in the wall repair shop that screws people over all the time.

Marcel Covaci

Why not replace them when they leak?

BAM BAM

I have a Freightliner century class and i every 3 months i have at least a few shock's!….i use Gabriel fleet from the dealer….are those bad brands? And what should i use instead?

I KH

most people don't change them..
I am new owner op bought my truck with 280k.. had original shocks in front changed them boy what a diff.probally gona do rears next ween

lukas wildner

Once a year is not necessary. Change them once you replace tires.

opp_slider32

Yeah on a loaded truck the shocks don’t do anything even if there brand new

bob the builder

Im a diesel mechanic certified volvo and he’s completely wrong

Vldazz Man

That rusty part is just a cover it's not the actual shock ! It keeps the dirt and grime off the shaft ! If it's not leaking and ur not bouncing it's fine

TruckiNcapin With 15Romeo

To all the people who don’t understand this, this video is for commercial truck drivers, you know the big ones you see on the highway, trucks will drive between 2k-3k miles a week depending on some factors

Sorum & Sons FF & Painting

Once a year???? 100,000 miles?? Your driving 100,000 miles a year?? And your worries about shocks lol

Emilio Magana

I respect this man al cien but if you cant figure out the little service things yourself, then maybe step down from a semi. For the sake of your health and mine….

Edison Padilla

Thanks for the info, it gives a fair timeframe of how long they should last.

soundqubed killer

Who drives 100k in a year?

Sean Tobyne

I change struts at least once a year or every other depends on if I can hear them
