The Hole Hopper (Ice Fishing Mobile Fishing Sled)
I create the ultimate Hole Hopper. The ability to run and gun without hauling around a bunch of gear. Taking only the necessities you need to mobile ice fish and compact them into a sled. Sled holds my clam plate auger attachment on a 8″ mora auger, and hummingbird ice 35.

Nice job man…I like it…I have been ice fishing for 50+ years. Still do not have an auger (home made spud/blade – can punch a hole in 8" of ice in a few minutes and I need the exercise 😁), I have never used a fish finder – still seem to find fish. Do not have a shanty…just insulated coveralls and really good boots. Other than that it looks like u travel pretty light!
I like the idea of a sled rather than carrying a couple pails and a spud!
As I get older I do like the look of your battery drill auger…one day! 😁
Thanks for doing the video!

All the weight is up front?
nice sled! you could add a piece of padding under the vexilar.
I like the potato cannons on the wall
I like it but it’s definitely pared down to bare minimum, like sniper jigging. What would be your idea if you needed to add on, say 1. Five gallon bait bucket
2. Storage for excess clothes
3. Storage for a few traps
4. Food and beverages
You’ve got room in the bucket but then you have no room for kept fish…
I like this build a lot, we have a bay area where this would be perfect for. I hope we get to see how it works on the ice.

That is my design
Awesome vid 👌🇨🇦
One major flaw, no Busch Light storage. Nicely done!
Think I'm going to have to do this build. I just happened to have a old pair of skis 😂😂😂😂😂
Put the rope at the end of your skis for easier towing. Also it helps to have it on the downward side of the skis, attached to an eyebolt and a carabiner clip . Otherwise it looks really nice!
That's the kind of anticipation I have waiting for ice to come.. 💪 🎣
Looks good but you should put your rope through the ski tips , it will help it pull even easier by adding lift to the front. Just drill holes through the tips and put rope through and add a washer for strength. Otherwise looks good.
To much talking and b.s. this and this that my buddy I'm out not working for me. What does it do any why is it a secrets. I'm out.
Subbed 👍
Great build. New sub.
Trivia – do you know why we call it a dash board? Horse drawn carriages used to have a curved front that would prevent mud from reaching the riders when horses would dash. The name carried over to motorized vehicles. Great build and tips!
Good work
Can we see a weekly use update? I'll bet it falls apart before spring.
Yeah, probably going to build one of these today!
Pretty good idea buddy!! Can't wait to check it out in person when we go.
14:51 “if I get 100 subs…” 11 days later 300+. Ingenious setup. You will definitely get the whole Upper Midwest on this video and your idea. 👌
Great idea. As you will find out, when you get older lighter is better.
Look fwd to seeing ur sled on the ice. Tight lines.
Nice buddy 👍 sub’d
You do it the hard way. Blue lock tight.
Ice scoop in pvc. Great build
Pimp my Smitty Sled!
Good job dude
Great idea. Really like how light and simple it is. Just what I need
May have to build one too. Have one for my sled and made a bench seat that sits in my sled but yours is much lighter
Like the build, great ideas!! One thing you may look at adding on to one of the ski's, is a bump board!
Good video friend , was just checking out your channel and i joined up
