GM and Chevy are killing it in the looks department of these trucks IMO, I love the Silverado interior and the Denali exterior. If you can actually get the 400 miles in the base model like the Silverado work truck for 40-50k, that will be the one to get, and beat Ford in sales by a large margin. It could even rival the Cybertruck (500mi range) depending on its cost when it comes out. $80-100+k for an EV is just nuts, and getting worse as interest rates keep going up.
400 miles and 100k dollars later that’s the price of a rolls Royce right there so unless there’s a beer cooler in that truck and ultra smooth suspension and everything then nobody’s gonna buy that
I'm very happy to see more and more pickups. I had a reservation for the Lightning, but fortunately, I was able to receive my Rivian before getting the OK to configure the Ford. The Rivian is the best I've driven, anything I've driven. Although I have not driven any other electric pickups. The Mach e my wife drives and loves, has some questionable tech, as it is not as intuitive as the Rivian. I assume they'll get better but that is one reason I wanted the R1T over the Lightning.
but as we've seen in recent reviews of BEV trucks that range is prolly applicable when driven as a "city car" when one loads it up and does "truck" stuff the advertised range is torn to ribbons!
Thanks to Tesla for showing the Big 3 dinosaurs 🦖 how it's done with electric vehicles. Elon Musk pushed the agenda and got them moving. Except for Ford, they're backed by taxpayer bailouts too, lest we forget.
Nothing says Dinosaur Engineering design with GM & Ford like putting a physical knob on a touchscreen! Not to mention it looks like GMC copying Ford with the physical knob in a 21st century touchscreen. Some Engineers are followers and some Engineers are innovators. But it looks like old out of touch top brass overriding Engineering. design.
There used to be a time were I got excited about new cars and truck’s coming out, but not anymore! All I do when something new comes out is say to myself, o that’s nice, have fun paying the 80 or 100 grand sticker they’re gonna slap on the thing! When did vehicles become Small mortgages??? But for some reason there’re so many idiots that just keep spending it!!!!!!!! Bet you would’ve not bought your house if they told you it was only gonna last for 5 to 10 years! Wake up people!!!

IF they build it like this, then maybe GM is finally getting serious about EVs…maybe
I’m glad the crab walk isn’t Hummer exclusive
I was liking until the interior, why are so many ev companies copying after tesla and even mustang.
Love your videos, keep ‘em coning!
Elon should have focused on the Cyber truck instead of Twitter.
Very cool, but the sound of a internal combustion engine cannot be replaced ever xD

Will the weight shortn the mile range? I always wondered that?
@mkbhd can you please talk and share information around the flooded EV cars issue that Floridian’s are facing
Sharp looking truck. $107k? Ouch! I'll be curious to see what real world range is when it hits the streets.
Chevy Avalanche had the same mid gate.
It's so hilarious seeing you liberals go crazy over this crap, my lord please help us all
200kwh battery pack and only 400 miles? So their strategy is just throw more battery at it. Not a winning strategy.
Any idea on when GM would open up orders on this truck?

My interest after hearing the specs and seeing the interior 📈
My interest after you said it has "crabwalk" rear wheel steering 📉
Not a real truck, just an EV Avalanche with different badge.
Looks like a big 1st Gen Honda Ridgeline , congratulations GM for copying the girls choice in trucks
What's the point of the Cybertruck at this point?
" Promised Specs "
I'm a GM fan. That being said.
I think it looks good.

It's nice and not spending $50,000 or more on a pick- up.
