Specimen Bream Fishing | Daniel Woolcott | Campaign Film
Daniel Woolcott has put in many sessions over the past year in search of a big bream, which have proved difficult to track down. In this episode Dan begins his campaign for a specimen on a large gravel pit, before then heading to more public and urban venues to continue searching for his dream bream.

Great analysis of 'big' bream (10+lb), they're completely different to the 'mass shoal' (4-8lb) type of bream .
What’s not to live about big bream. You have give good insight to some rigs.
That second venue, the public one, is that Rother Valley? Looks like it.
Walthamstow reservoirs has massive bream! Lake 2-3 it's quiet easy to catch a double 13lb + if targeted. Sorry mate wrote this half way through the vid and here you are on the stow!
fuck the bream
someone fishing for bream lool iv seen it all now loooool i no a park lake where bream are upto 18ld absoultly huge and zero fun
What a video….👏👏👏
Colemere and the big mere in Shropshire have got massive bream in upto 22lb, not loads to go at but worth the effort
Another fantastic video…
What reel and size is that
Great video,, I have a res in lancs were its very low stock its un fished basically, no carp either ,, it did a 15 and a few other 11 to 13ns , , ,, would pre baiting be the method over a period of time , apparently its ridiculously hard so advice would be interesting.
Great film! Not everyone's cup of tea, but a big bream is an impressive fish.
I'd love a big Bream but there's no waters local to me to have a proper campaign without putting some serious miles and effort in. Hats off to Daniel and Drennan again.
Love a big Bream, great film
Another "How To Make A Great Fishing Video" from DrennanInternational.
However. What Daniel said about big Bream "Becoming almost like carp" rings true and brings back a memory from 20+ years ago.
A small'ish but deep gravel pit in Warwickshire. The main species there were the Carp. No one ever mentioned Bream even being in the pit, let alone being caught.
It was an odd pit as there were barely a couple or so places you could really fish from. In the very far corner away from where anglers could fish, the pit had high cliffs and the drop to the water was some fifteen foot or more in places.
But this is where the Carp, during the day, would hang out and mingle. And in the middle of all these Carp, just cruising on the surface (Some of which were easily mid thirties!), were always 3 or 4 really BIG Bream.
When you first spotted them, you'd say it was a Carp because of their size. Until they turned towards or away from you and then you'd get that thought in your head, "Doh! Obviously it's a Bream dummy. Look at its shape and dorsal fin!".
And if you were careful with catapulting out a few untainted (Human fingers smell!) dog biscuits, the Carp AND the Bream would occasionally take them off the surface.
But this is what angling memories are all about. Sometimes just watching fish, is enough. 8-))…
Great video videography as usual from Drennan as usual but this one was just so uninformative. Not much on rigs, not one weight on a fish and little to no info on the amount of bait used
I remember years ago on river severn night fishing caught bream all night one after the other 4 to 6 pound me and my mate litrally filled 2 keepnets up till 6 next morning must av been 200 pound of bream struggled to pull keepnets in no scocial media back then no phone cameras ect good old days hapiest days of my life im 60 now wonderful times fishing great vidio this always loved bream but found most fisherman not intrested in bream
Great video and some cracking fish – quality filming😀🎣
Usual Drennan quality depicting specimen angling of various species. While there are still some excellent carp videos around, they have been done to death so this series focusing on other specimens is refreshing to watch. Well done Drennan 👏👏
Superb 🥃
Can’t go wrong with stow I’ve had em to 17lb10oz this yr and have witnessed bigger although I wouldn’t discount the coppermill
Great video. I fish one off those waters myself.
I am starting to fall in love with these videos from drennan. Also Daniel is great in front of the camera also. Great editing. Thankyou
Cracking film, thoroughly enjoyable…
Fantastic video! Enjoyed every minute 😁
Another outstanding video, excellent presenter too
Great film. The videography on these films now a days is second to none. Anymore with martin bowler coming up?
Awesome mate. Beats carp anytime. Id rather have a big unit of a, bream any day
What a great video. Thanks Daniel you narrate your stories so so well.
