I take you guys with me to go fishing a new saltwater pier for whatever bites! This is my first time EVER fishing a pier at the outer banks in North Carolina! We explore and toss out some mullet and shrimp to see if anything is around! The next day we take the kayak out to do some inshore kayak fishing in the outer banks! There can be so many different fish that we could possibly catch in the saltwater and at a place like OBX! Will we catch our first fish at the outer banks? I didn’t expect this to happen..
Again, I want to thank each and every one of you for the support! At the time of this upload we just passed 482,800 I’m having so much fun making these videos, lets keep this rolling!

@FirstStateFishing use the bubble gum type shrimp baits with netting in them in OBX.
where do you go fishing?
I’ve been subscribed to your channel for years & I feel like you never improved as a angler. I will be unsubscribing.
Just Saying, Usually for red fish and other Game fish High Tides are better because of more oxygen in the water.
The first rig You showed is called a Pompano rig, which I have personally caught, Red Fish, Black Drum, Pompano, and Croaker with.
Great fishing video
I know in a few places I've fished that look like that one of the best ways to catch a red or trout is live line a mullet out the back as you are floating on through casting a lure. No weight, just let the mullet swim free behind you. You'll get slammed hard that way at times and hook into some real monsters. Also works with shrimp although you'll have to babysit it a lot more and get smaller fish.
why do you Ionky use little peices of shrimp. put the whole thing on there. I have never seen anyone do that.
Come to Cape Cod Canal Massachusetts bro
i just wanna say i absolutly enjoy your vids, been watching since you did the gf vs bf video like 5 years ago 😀
what pier is this?
You should use the toadfish rod and reel it is an fantastic rod and reel
I feel like he could use sum got casting skills.
I hate you clickbate thumbnails
Use to like you fishing and calabs but your hardly catch anything and when you do your catch clean and cook has so did. Its become a joke
Atlantic Puffer Fish are good eating. They're non poisonous and aren't difficult to clean.
That’s Kure beach pier isn’t it? I went to Nc last year and was fishing for blacktips and bulls at the end of the pier
Mullet being caught at Ramp 38 and Ramp 43. You can walk over at both locations. No need to take your truck on the beach at those 2 ramps.
If you are fishing for Red Drum use cut bait
Enjoy the videos a lot, every video is a learning journey for u and me
Very good
You ain’t going to catch a red with that weak shrimp lure
🤙🐟💯
Rodanthe Pier?
Black drum r good fish to eat
Fun watching what fishing is like in new areas.
They're called drum in nc
Dude i get that catching small fish is easy and more content, but try for something decent😂 quit throwing little pieces of chunked shrimp and get some live baits out, you’ll be surprised with your results when you don’t take the easy way out
I spend ally of time down in obx go to a place called the point they catch nice drum from the wash out of there especially with bad winds
Drop more catch and cooks. Ramen editions
