Looks like a 250 Cummins engine. In my opinion I don't think $1200 is a bad price at all. Well worth that in parts to the right IH collector. Nice job with the walk around 🔧🔩
That differential is an International RA-37. Very difficult to find parts for and prone to pinion leaks just like that one. Common in Fleetstars and Transtars of that era.

that was govt forestry green probably water truck turn in to recovery or it was built to do thier recovery now days chris getting hard for lot people to spend let alone care lot people want cheap free or now gets really old getting low ball offers sale

Sorry Chris but I had to give this a thumbs down because all you did was show a video about this old truck like a used car salesman. I get that you are trying to save these things but you have to at least wrench on them a bit for us to like what you are doing. $1,500 is pocket change to me but I am not going to buy something like that unless you are able to show us it runs.

You have to cover the sir intake to shut the engine off that's why companies carry a peice of metal or wood in each machine so the operator can choke the turbo off until it shuts down.
Hamiltonville farms does will it start videos on machines like that every week.

$1,500 is a steal. You definitely should get a finders fee. Nothing wrong with that. I'm severely disabled ex vol Firefighter/EMT on Hospic so I know I'll never beable to work on this. I'd love to fix it up and have in on my property. But can't. Good luck finding a buyer. Please let us know if she sells.

He's one of them if he don't get what he wants hell take less for them at a scrap yard then let someone actually have it for same price lol or you work on them and actually make him money lol. This are all I'll work on them someday lol tree growing threw engine 😂
I hope someone picks it up. Seems like the guy selling it is being kinda strange. Seeing the caged brakes makes me believe that it was towed in. You know how much work getting something like this back on the road is, as your going through it with the c30. I think $1500 is a fair price for that thing especially if you were going to help load it.

For somebody who wants it that frame is an amazing condition and the engine having compression and turning over smoothly is a good sign. Something that old is gonna have to be fixed up anyway but a solid frame and a lot of the parts underneath being in great shape is a really good start
