Nothing wrong with a bluegill outing in fall. When the bass get lethargic here the bluegill and panfish are usually willing to bite slow presentations. I liked the MacGyver stick paddle, very resourceful brother. Thanks for blessing us with another every fisherman's video

I have had plenty of days in the fall and winter, where it's more about catching fish and having fun.
I like the fact that you always keep it real and down to earth.
Fishing at winter pool is a great way to scout for fishing spots. I have caught some nice fish in places that I found when the lake was down. I learned even more during the last bad drought when the water was ten feet below the usual winter level.
You're still a kid at heart John and bluegill fishing is were it's at. Best way to learn to fish for a kid and I'm sure you got some watching. My granddaughter loves you. Just follow your heart. It's worked well for you!

What kind of fishing line do you use. I’ve tried several different fishing lines except braid. They all seem to have very bad memory in the line. After about 30 casts they start to have problems.

I'm going to do 2lb line for anything under 1/32nd oz jig head. 4lbs is my comfort zone.

I found that a drop shot does really well for bluegill too. I used a worm. They would hit a small soft plastic too.
