Jude Law is easily becoming one of my favourite actors. The man’s in almost every big franchise. Star Wars, MCU, Harry Potter, he’s gonna be Captain Hook! What’s next? DC? Game of Thrones?

This sounds more interesting than any star wars thing in the recent past. Something different from "rebels vs empire" every single time
🤔 he could've made a good Obi-wan Kinobee…also a great younger count Dooku! (Just saying by looking at his picture). Anyway too early for any expectations. But, I do hope he's not playing a villain. I feel he could be a good addition as a Jedi-like character. He does have now that aura about him.

Jon Watts' directing is still generic at best
I love Jude Law and I will watch anything and everything he is in! He is an amazing actor and an amazing person if you watch his interviews. I heard rumors about his participation in a Star Wars series last month, but I'm so excited now that it has been confirmed. Definitely watching and supporting this show!
Jude Law is a household name…but never became a superstar or a megastar? Why? He is highly unlikable. Jude Law doesn't sell tickets. He isn't a big marquee name that can open up films, in terms of box office, on opening weekend. Women don't especially love Jude Law…nor do men. .

I still think that this could be about a jedi and younglings. They could have gone into a jedi meditative sleep or cold sleep to avoid the empire for 25 or so years, but are now lost in the deep periphery.
Did they really say the show isn't for kids? Because the article that came out for John Watts doing this was all about how he wanted to do a kids Star wars show that was reminiscent of the '80s amblin type of movies. So I think it is a kiddie show in the Star wars universe.
The only thing that makes me care about this is Jude Law… I really don't like the idea.
There is no script for FB4 and FB5. WB is not even sure if those will be made, possibly turn the WWII arc into a miniseries, or just cancel it outright. Even if it is not cancelled, it will take well over a year for the scripts to be finalized. Jude Law has plenty of time to star in another television series, before hypothetically returning as Dumbledore. He is not the only actor in “Fantastic Beasts” who is starring in other huge projects. Jude Law, Mads Mikkelson, Eddie Redmayne, and even an up-and-comer like Callum Turner did not need to join the Wizarding World. They all had solid careers before, and did it because they enjoy “Harry Potter”. Jude Law is a great actor, and his career choices are so much more interesting now, that he is not getting typecast as a stereotypical leading man.
Uggh, if they're more shitty kid actors (like young Leia) this is gonna be horrible.
