A carp fishing session in France filmed back in 2006. It features top carp anglers Shaun Harrison & Ron Woodward who are part of a group of four anglers travelling over to France to fish for carp. Loads of tips and information on what to expect when tackling a foreign trip.
Note: I have already posted this as a five part series, but I’ve received several requests to post the entire film in one long clip. So here it is.

nice video !! subbed and liked !!
have a look at my channel 2
thanks man
Great video guys shame the back ground music is crap was it one of your nans old CD's!!
the main reason for holding the rod to the side is it helps raise the fish off the bottom the carp are more likely to come to the surface good skills in weedy lakes.
Whydo you guys hold your fishing rods side ways like that? Here in the USA we like to hear our drags go off and rods bend straight down. We like actions and there you guts are so calm…
Great video, really enjoyed it, sorry to hear the loss of your friend.
REMY LAKE they say it a couple times in the commantary
Can you please tell me the name of the lake? Thanks
SHAUN THE SHEEP HANGERS AWSOME!

I like the way you figth whit the carp good job 😀
The fish in there are in great condition an all. Basically every carp you caught broke my PB, which is the reason why I need to go to france. Ever been on the Ebro? I wouldn't mind fishing on there for the big commons, wels catfish and the barbel.
What an immense trip. This is something I defo need to do next year. I stopped going fishing about 8 years ago and due to having so much stuff and not having room for it, I sold it all(which I regreat now), I've just started going again so I have just started buying loads of tackle again. It's not cheap that's for certain. I wouldn't mind trying france and the river ebro in spain, I've always wanted to go there.
RIP Ron, You'll Have The Rods Out In Heaven For Sure !!!
whos in the back lol… not watched it all yet
i have always wanted to go to old oaks in france but the carp are heavy and my mum and dad wont let me im only 10

Yes indeed Chris, I enjoyed making this film immensely and Ron played a huge part in its production. He will be sorely missed as a good friend and great carp angling presenter. Thanks for your comment!!
Another thumbs up for Ron, never knew him but saw him once at a fishery in France and he seemed a gentle giant. RIP Ron
Yes indeed!! A good friend who shall be greatly missed. Fortunately we were able to make such films together so he shall not be forgotten. Regards Gareth
During that trip I was using Free Spirit Hi 'S' rods and Daiwa SS3000 reels.

@GraphicKitchen Various kinds… by Daiwa the SS3000 and by Shimano the Big Baitrunners. Regards
@ChannerUK No mate not Croix, was shot at the Etang de Rémy… if you watch the film its made clear where we were going. Not sure if it still exits as a fishery.
Where abouts is this at mate? Not Croix Blanche right?
next time try to buy the boilies from the lake in france 😛
