I went creek fishing for trout! It was a beautiful day and the trout were biting. I started out using a small jerkbait then switched to an inline spinner. They couldn’t resist the spinner. This creek was loaded with trout!

It's so crazy how those guys can hit the spinner then twist and kick it I love how you make your own spinners I do that myself and catch a ton that way I bet you would love fishing the driftless where I fish the trout streams here are everywhere just got back from trout fishing this morning caught a fat 17" brown trout and might be headed out for the night bite after I finish painting this deck lol

Growing up, I only fished in ponds and lakes and specifically for bass and catfish. Yesterday was my first time fishing in a river. Skunked. Can't wait to get back out.
