Changing the seal in the steering Box it's simple , and I only found one place to get it , and it is a SLEEVE that goes over the shaft before you put your new seal and I found it In Washington at a shop , It works great , You should try to get one , because I imagine your shaft is worn a little bit and it is going to leak again on you Hopefully not , The same way with your axles on your Trailer , They start leaking , Get you a sleeve that goes over the axle before you put your new seal , Sometimes they are hard to get But the older generations where you buy parts they know exactly what you're talking about ,
Your air bags I told you long time ago to air them up , take a cigarette pack That is all you need , put it at the bottom of the plate , air your bags up to the top of the cigarette pack ,
Anything that has to do with AIR my FRIEND , you have to fix it immediately you cannot let it slide or them are the kind of problems you run in to , Actually you have to fix anything goes wrong immediately , shut it down and fix it or you got problems ,
SHOCKS , I have tried all kinds of aftermarket SHOCKS and I went back to OME , they are the best for cars and pickup trucks ,
If you can get that steering Box rebuilt and set there and watch them for $850 bucks , you better do it my friend At least you know you will have 70% of brand new parts and I will imagine they are going to replace the shaft , Rebuilt steering boxes $2000 to $4000 bucks , 7 or 8 months later they start leaking again , Rebuilding a steering Box you have to know what you are doing , Steering boxes shove 1200 plus pounds a pressure ,
Do NOT take that piece off , If you do Throws it out of time and you will have problems , just take the steering Box off and let the mann rebuild it for you my friend

Make sure your driveline is phased or you will get a vibration from it , very possible when they fixed your clutch.
Try pouring cold water on the nut after you've heated it.
The sudden temperature change can help with removal 😉

Jeez, Louise..this was painful to watch😜… Invest in a Acetylene Torch and a couple bottles of gas and you would have cut those nuts off in a few seconds. If you don't want to cut then you could heat them white to cherry and then back them off the bolts. A Sawsall is a great tool but there's better ways to go sometimes….

it could be that someone put the wrong levelling valve on the truck before and now you have the correct one
I watched YouTube videos about replacing the rear main seal on my Jeep 4 liter engine and did a perfect job, no leaks anymore.
As someone who spent 10 years just rebuilding big rig steering boxes, pumps and cylinders i can understand your struggle doing your first one. Drag link should've come off first. Big hammers, big pullers and sometimes big heat. That is a TAS variety of steering box so you cannot pull the input housing off by itself. It comes apart internally on the bench. Steering boxes can be easily messed up so good to let an experienced shop fix it.
