The more I see your video's on the F450 and other peoples video's, the more I'm super happy with my choice to order the F450. I decided against adaptive steering so I could get my truck in about 4-5 months and let's be honest, we've all been turning a steering wheel the same our entire lives so I don't feel like I'm really missing anything not having that option lol

mike

Honestly it seems like the only advantage is the turning radius the 350 dually gets better fuel economy it has a much much much better ride just my opinion

Kenneth Mcelroy

what is the mx pin wt for a f450
pin weight)

怒りKATO

its true man its my only concern is the 8 foot bed it looks like a damn limo super long

Al Laemmel

Can you do a review about stopping distance for big tow vehicles with a loaded trailer?

Paul

Love your channel and have watched it over the years. I especially like your commitment to making sure you have the right vehicle to tow the right trailer. You probably have saved a lot of people a lot of grief. I just recently switched from a 350 to a 450 and will never go back again. Overkill? I don’t think so as the turning radius is worth it alone.

jim maltese

Hi can you please do more reviews on the F450 Really appreciate your help. Thanks

kingkobra

F-450 better GVCW and way better turning radius because of wide track front axle and I like duallys but that's two more tires to buy and they don't look as good with aftermarket wheels on them

Never EVER have I thought I even consider a ford, however wth. I like the look of the ford. Can you get a 5500 with a reg bed?

Wyatt Earp

Great for you !!

Mike Fitzpatrick

how much weight did you gain going to the Alcoa wheels?

Hey JD. I'm getting the new 2017 Jayco Seismic 4113 ready for my trip next week. Towing it with my 2019 F-450 Pt (stock no lift). While towing it home and while I was working on some trailer upgrades, I noticed that the trailer is running nose high and the front AC unit is slightly over 13'6" (specs say 13'3", so about 3" high). I was curious what you recommend for getting it flatter. I already have minimum clearance between the truck bed and trailer, so I can't adjust the pin box up or hitch down. I don't recall you doing anything with a leveling kit on your truck. I don't want to lift the trailer, so the only thing I can think of (short of putting a leveling kit on it in the future) is to keep the pressure on the bags down and let the back end compress a little. Any thoughts would be appreciated!!!

So I have a question what's the difference between f450 cheapest model and the platinum is the motor the same or what

Derg Enterprises

I drove a 2020 F450 and didn't like how it handled when changing lanes on the highway. I also didn't like how it handled around curves at highway speeds. The truck acted like it didn't want to turn and I had to muscle the steering wheel with caution. What is your experience in those situations?

Norman Pollard

What about the death wobble thingy. I am seriously looking for trucks in this range to pull an RV, and I love the Ford. But the death wobble that keeps coming up is spooking me. What do you say?

cb750

Try driving that in Seattle.

The Borrowed Homestead

I refered this video to the Fulltime Families group on Facebook. Someone was asking what was better. I also mentioned your reviews of the Rams and Chevys.
Thanks for your videos and knowledge that you share.

Steve Smith

Maybe do an explanation on the insurance differences. Of the trucks if you haven't already.

Robin Scott

Does anyone out there have a 5th wheel that has a 24 GVWR I currently have a F350 and I know I am exceeding the Payload by about 800 lbs. (my payload is currently pushing 6k) I am torn between a F450 pickup with all the luxury of a Plat or Limited knowing I am over my Payload or get into a Chassie Cab and Kelderman air ride suspension that replaces the leaf springs and put a hauler bed on it. And give up all the luxury.

Al Laemmel

I like the bigger brakes of the F450. I have a 2019 and love it!

Nate

Well said

My boss owns 3 campgrounds two of the them I've been to and I've seen F450 pulling big 5th campers at both campground's the 3 campground I haven't been to it's in Madison Wisconsin

kr flyguy

I absolutely agree with you on the looks and the turning advantages it has. I love my 450 and am fortunate that it is not a daily driver and I use it to pull my 5th wheel. It has been tight in some smaller campgrounds and I might need to park it away from our site. Its always worth it.

Paul Rodrigues

Your truck looks awesome. It's got the right amout of bling. I do not like trucks that the owner spends a fortune in the JC Whitney Catalog.

Alaxander GW

Why cheat yourself with an F450 when an F550 is a way better option? Lets be honest, if you have the money for the F450 then get the F550.

slapshot121212

BTBRV, I couldn’t agree more with your review, it’s spot on. I went from a ‘17 F350 Lariat SRW CCSB to a ‘20 F450 Platinum. The 450 is indeed more maneuverable than the 350 was. The turning is just insane for a truck that size. The only 3 access issues I’ve found are 1) DRW trucks don’t fit in car washes, 2) some drive thru’s are too small/tight, and 3) cities that have tiny parking spaces make parking a challenge. But when it comes to towing capability, I will always have a 450 as long as I tow a 5th wheel.

Richard Moody

You would be sorry if you bought a Ram or Silverado. Their build quality and associated frequency of repair are deplorable.

Darren Pelphrey

I’m sure the turning would be nice but 300,000 miles of transporting RVs with my 350 and I have yet to have a headache from it.
Driving skill is free.

Too wide? People really love to complain about literally EVERYTHING

Leyda Choy Evans

What did you finally determined was the reason for the odd wear pattern on your front tires that seem common with 450 from factory,I've been having same issue, not sure if you followed up on that, thanks.

Derek White

That power line made me think I had a crack on my phone..I got the 12 yesterday
