In this video we are discussing the new content Cat engines that are available. You can also swap a Cummins or Detroit for a Cat engine and Cat will give you core credit for them. Pretty interesting new program. AdeptApe@yahoo.com on PayPal.

That is AWESOME news.
Wait till Cummins hear about this. They will try their best to shut it down. I want one to replace the big red .
any advice on my 2008 Caterpillar C15 def has been deleted but it still ain't the same
Would this apply to motor homes? Say a C-12?
since when is Caterpillar better than cummins????
All Cat cylinder heads are Upgrade to New, cat hasn’t re-furnished heads for some time.
we have had TERRIBLE luck with reman engines, i think that is why they are offering this
What about a Glider? I have a 17 glider with a MXS, could I swap it with a 6NZ? Since it’s a glider kit
That is great news
WORKING ON BUILDING A HI HP 3408 DI I PURCHASED CAT REMAN RODS!
THEY WERE A BIT PRICEY, BUT THEY HAVE SAME GUARANTEES AS A BRAND NEW ONE!
Makes me wonder if CAT is getting back into making new engines for highway trucks, since their heavy equipment engines have to meet the same emissions as trucks now
I don't know about on highway engines but for offroad applications making new engines is needed. CAT has lost it's way and the engineering is trash now. 15 years ago they were top of the pile but today they are just junk and in need of a new team at CAT and some thought before engineering their equipment.
Cats are just to damn expensive to rebuild
Nice, but I think I’d just keep a Detroit 60 with Cats being thirsty with expensive parts and the cost of fuel being what it is.
Where my buddy works down here in Arizona the labors put def in the hydraulic
I wonder if I can stuff one of these in my old F-150
Its not all that . my dad did that with a farm tractor program. Yes he got a new tractor but the new tractor used the same if not more diesel fuel not to mention it was almost 10x the price but its really doesn't produce 10x the work output. If you have a good old rig take care of it, even rebuilding is cheaper more money in your pocket when you get to the bottom line.
if the epa and the fed has their hand in it. They are likely destroying the old Cummins/Detroit engines
wonder if these meet the stupid california emission garbage which is causing trucks, busses, etc to be shipped out of state or scrapped, if so there is a big market for these
You talked about engine swapped, what about the wiring harness to make that swap work, like Cummins to cat,how makes that?
Where are the new blocks coming out of, what plant? I worked at Cat's Northeast Mississippi Remanufacturing Plant but they don't make new blocks there as far as I know. The new blocks must be coming out of one of their plants up north, maybe in Indiana? I heard one of their workers fell into the molting metal not too long ago. Awful 😞
Will the new parts from Cat meet current emissions requirements?
Cat motors are for the rich truckers.
Cummings does just as good if not better!
And the parts are affordable.
I have to disagree with the theory of "NEW" engines. A high performance engine, or even upgraded engine started life as a base engine design somewhere before it was modified, re-machined, and had the clearances reset. All part of the rebuilding process. In my experience as a auto/Diesel Technician, NEW stands for
Never
Ever
Worked.
And that goes on to say it is just as unproven or durable as an engine rebuilt and refinished to be new. But a rebuild has the opportunity to correct what may have been wrong in production. Especially in cases where a OTR truck block is resleeved, the operator may never know a hole was out of round originally and one piston was running hotter than another reducing output. Gasoline engines have more common casting defects. Shot peening and thermal treatment in the rebuild process can remedy these.
KT3406E needs to weigh in on this.
Don't do it. Their cat phone sucks and their engine probobally sucks too
Cool stuff 😊
sounds to me like cat has some extra stock they need to get rid of before the zero emisson goes full tilt at which point means these engines are going to be useless.
hehe try this in EU ….every pencil pusher would go kill frenzy :D:D
Awesome video ! So happy to announce that I have gained financial freedom by investing in digital currency. Now I know that multi creation of various streams of income is the ideal Principle for financial sustainability.
Fuck the EPA bunch of moron bureaucrats that can't make laws but think they can
The rings in the "Destruction of the Week" part were analyzed and found to be made of Chinesium alloy. Chinesium contains pot metal, aluminum foil, and powder milk mix (melamine).
cat always stands behind products and will always make parts for a long while
Man that should tell you something. Folks want to hold onto their old engines and avoid all the emissions stuff so much, they are willing to keep 20+ year old trucks vs buying new.
ALL EPA B.S.
A cat your crazy n-14 or a 855 all day
