I am curious if they couldn’t just use the back-up camera to detect the objects that could interfere with the tailgate operation and auto lock-out that portion of it. A similar concept to the lock-out mechanism that prevents minivans from opening the sliding door when refueling.
I would just prefer and tailgate without that feature and same me some money, yea I also don’t need dampers either as I am strong enough to lower it by hand.
I love my multipro tailgate. I use it almost daily.
I like the Spanish part 😊😊
Cool! I didn't know that. Now I do not have to damage my tailgate.
Is this all years?
AND GALS
Instead of engineering fancy tailgates they should be spending their money on learning how to make a transmission that lasts more than 40-60k miles. 🤣
Good day from Ontario. A neighbour had one of those tail gates, buggared it $3800 to replace.
Is there a cleaver solution for those god awful shoes??
Or or listen buy a ford
What are those?!?!?
Honestly, that is the most pointless thing ever.
You hope you remember to push that button when your towing
Too complicated for me that’s why I own a Ram pickup. I like throwback technology.
Should just detect that a trailer is plugged in (via light connector) and do it automatically (maybe give an override option incase of a malfunction)
This is a great feature for those that need a lawn mower that shuts off when Handel is released and safely gas can lovers
ive used the new button electronic tailgate. the button plastic holder is falling off the tailgate metal with only 10k miles use.
great tip!!

That’s tailgate is a big gm fail 😂 can tell the people that drive them don’t tow

Why can't they lock out the top one when something is connected to the 4 or 7 pin connectors?
Can i just have a regular tailgate please?
Why would you drop the big tailgate then decide to open the little one 😅
Useless
