My 6.0 has leaked oil since it was new in 2004, so the underside of my truck looks nearly new 🤣

Greg Friesen

A 2017 ?!

UB Roberts

Wow. I have a 2001 power stroke dually in the west and it still looks almost new underneath.

Kevin Duarte

I change those lines all the freaking time hate those lines

Michael Bolton

If it makes you feel any better all the trucks I work on are completely rust free

Lee Warry

You Americans use salt on your roads that’s why this happens .we don’t get it in Australia as it doesn’t snow here only in our alps .

Ludicrous

Sometimes saving weight with aluminum isn’t worth it!!😬😾

Mason frost

You complain a lot

William Harrolle

Let's face it the quality of the parts are junk compared to 40 years ago because make cheap and cost more .

Victor Desantis

Yes that could teach a good class

Matthew Willson

The emblem on the front of the truck says everything that you need to know junkyard special it’s a bunch of melted down Chevrolets and a few dodges i mean shipping crates lol 😂

xxnthaniel_v

Don’t come to phx Az please, not a safe environment 😅😅😅😅

Joe Hanson

I don't think my 2012 looks that rusty.

Mike Zilligen

This vehicle is from the rust belt. It’s common because of the use of sodium chloride and calcium chloride on the roads. With the cost of vehicles the manufactures should have incorporated rust prevention in their products

Michael

Maybe wash it more or spary a layer of used oil on it

Big Paw

I never understood the obsession with a aluminum cab with people all excited "it won't rust" yeah but everything else still does.

Brian Wayne

Wow! I didn't expect the new SD to rust so badly so fast. Yeah, show the lines being changed out please.

Simr Khera

You have the same issue like South Main Auto, load up on torches lol

A Squared Customz

with todays technology you'd think this wouldnt be an issue. I blame the government and governmental control.

Zack Zander

Fluid Film or WoolWax every year before winter from new. Spray it on in warm weather and it will creep everywhere. I’ve seen trucks from the 90’s driven in the winter every year and they look great.

Dakota 1175

Man that's the whole reason I left the north for the south

john steffen

Woolwax , LOTS OF WOOLWAX ,I even coat the Trans ,brake
& fuel lines.

aiden simila

Sure don’t make them like they used too

RJ Cormac

That 4WD selection looks like it failed once you filmed it!😒 Or it will fail before the end of winter.🫤

Jonathan Price

Nope, when new NHOU wax is applied. If used NHOU oil is applied.

Tractor Matt

I’ve found trucks rot out faster than cars because if it’s snowing the mentality is “take the truck” then all that salt builds up and they park the truck for a week, not driving it through any rain storms to wash the salt off, trucks don’t get washed as often as well. You can blame the towns for salting, or blame the company for poorly designing something out of steel, but at the end of the day, all the companies use steel, all the townships where it snows use salt. It’s up to the individual owner to take care of their vehicle.

Rick Imburgia

Top quality Ford products!!
( junk)

Jon Fischer

They parked it where moisture was under it.

Teri and TL Stanbro

Yes

Rob McGuire

My 17 tranny lines rusted out….on my 22 I’ll be sure to undercoat

myusher

that thing looks brand new you should see the dodges we get in the shop, 2017 most bolts break

Jaime Perez

It's 95 steel or chip steel

Those lines should've been galvanized, like they used to make them.
These vehicles aren't built to last, keeping them dry and out of salt helps.

John lenon

brake Line problems

Kris Baraw

2018 f150 with 70k, did and oil change today and inspected most the rust underneath my truck…. Just kidding first two months I had the truck, I undercoated it with asphalt undercoating after a detailed wash, wipe and dry, everything external is coated in kbs asphalt undercoating and everything enclosed (like the inside of the frame, rocker panels and bed supports) are wool waxed annually, zero rust anywhere underneath and I wash it as often in the winter as I can because of the salt and brine on the road

Krankie V

Pretty common in my area. I like these ones. Nice and accessible. Not hard to replace. Not like older Chevy where you have to drop the front differential down, or cut the lines and splice them back together. Neither option is ideal.

Michael Cuff

If these truck companies wanna use cheap materials that rust. Maybe they should use their bedliner on the bottom of the truck also!

M G

Yes plz

NYOTA

I don't understand how you guys up north deal with all that rust. My condolences

Stzer118

🤮
