I FINALLY got my truck back after three weeks in the shop! The shop actually got the work done really fast, but one of the parts was the big hold up and the reason it sat so long. But either way, after a nearly $5,000 bill, it’s back on the road!
I also included some “behind the scenes” of when Jason from @YankumRopes was here filming a bit of a do’s and dont’s tutorial with me. We spent the afternoon getting a bunch of different shots, watching YouTube videos to figure out what to say, and reshooting parts when airplanes flew over. Keep an eye on the @YankumRopes @YouTube page for that video!

congrats on getting the truck back, hope the calls keep coming in!!
Casey, have ever considered trading in your Ford, Dodge wrecker for a 2016 Dodge Ram Chevron/Vulcan (crew cab) 122,340 miles, Cummings Engine stock #4097 from Commercial Truck Trader. If I was younger than 65 and in good health, I would have changed jobs and bought that to start my business . Had a Legal/Medical Courier Business (made money, but was BORING job).
What is the Max distance you will or have travel have traveled for a Recovery Mission?
Hope you quickly recover the funds you have invested in the truck
Have a good day casey buddy !!
Casey- "That job is a local close to home job. Its about an hour drive each way" 😳
Me- "My drive to work is 6 minutes each way." 😅
Dude ! Where's the catering truck ? All big production sets have a catering truck, right ?
Use Flightradar24 to see when airplanes are about to fly over your location.
👍🏻💯🇦🇺
I have always thought that was a weird thing people saying oh you can't change just one injector and that you have to change all of them. I have done it a few times on different trucks and worked out just fine
So THAT's how you get in shape as a Judge in the Tow Truck Gaimes !!! WOW 😯I was wondering…. Great job Casey !!
You think 3 1/2 weeks is enough. We had our pu i Britt’s Diesel Service in Bishop, CA for 75 days and they didn’t have to wait on parts. Then they couldn’t get it started. Turned out they had made many mistakes. They still charged me the same as if they had fixed it. $17,000 later!!🤬
Hey Casey I just noticed you have Ironman steers on the rollback. I’d be interested to hear what you think of them, do you love or hate them? did you put them on or did they come with the truck? Thanks in advance.
Changing injectors in a big diesel engine ain’t like changing spark plugs in your pickup. Years back had a N14 ‘Fly By Wire’ (electronic controlled) Cummins engine in a log truck with some 600,000 or more miles on it. One day it started missing so I call the company shop they said bring it in, when I got there the Cummins guy was waiting. He figured out it was number 5 injector, changed it and had back out hauling logs in about 20 minutes. Fast forward a couple years and 100’s of thousands more miles the truck went in for an engine overhaul, when it came back they had only billed for 5 injectors. Why not not change all six… nope, only needed 5 , they had it on record, “just changed #5 a while back and they ain’t cheap “. Good call.
Lol you have UFOs flying around your house 😂
I hear Hollywood calling.
PLEASE check the email, we would like to do business with you(mikas)
Glad you got your roll-back back home!! Now maybe you can start getting some "paying" jobs!! Hope you and Jason got all the shots he needed!! Riley is the bomb!!!
Glad you got the role back back. Watching you is getting expensive last week I ordered a morrflate and tonight I ordered more recovery gear from yankum.
Another fine outing with sweet Riley! And I love me a hummin' Cummins!
Never realized your life was so complicated ?😮

Cool !
you got your truck back
Now you can set it up to go to Sand hollow
i bet that felt good to throw her through the gears again for the first time in a few weeks
Good call on the single injector. A six pack gets expensive quick especially if the rest aren't bad. I've seen a bunch of engines that end up just getting one injector replaced and never needing another one again. Diesels aren't like cars where if you do one, you do them all.
If the folks from Yankum Ropes are following these comments, I just wanna say that Casey is the best spokesman you can have for telling it like it is. If he likes something he will tell you if he doesn't, he'll tell you that too.
Great video
😊👍🏼
You’re really lucky you got your truck back after only three weeks. I have truck with a Maxforce engine in it I’m still waiting 4+ months for a fuel pump housing assembly on and the truck is down because of it. 🙄 good thing it’s a fleet truck and not the only one available.
That was some smooth shifting at 1:45 I thought it got automatic swapped until I heard you split
Get a sound bite of the airplane noise, then see if your fancy-schmancy audio app stuff thing-a-ma-jiggers can erase it from the recording.
Glad to see Ronnie Roll Back is back.
My wife is Gunna be mad at you. But she shouldn't be. Because I was going to spend money outfitting my truck for self/ assisted recovery, and now I know I got good gear.
I just spent a bunch of money on Yankum stuff, because of your videos. Specifically the offset ring, and the soft shackle videos. Then decided to get their 7/8" 20' rope too (to go along with the other 1" 30' rope I have). I also grabbed a Morrflate setup. This all stemmed from me almost getting stuck in unexpected ice on a steep hill next to a cliff, grossing around 18,000 lbs.
I'm glad they'll have a bridle video out soon because that's one of the last things on my list to get. (already got the winch and bumper on order)
Jason doesn’t have a Grumpy Cam , soooo 😂😂😂 you win
You should start charging people on regular jobs
Youtube money spend that on this truck God forbid but this truck will ask for more repairs in future and its gonna be expensive and then you have to pay to bank for this truck etc
The weirdest thing is the stupid dance videos on TikTok… But by far the most uncomfortably weird thing is watching is "influencers" film them selves doing the stupid TikToks… Lol
The airplane was the highlight of that video LOL
We own trucks and we only change the bad injector and the others hold up for years to come.
