Let's see, longer to charge it then to fill up a tank, batterries will suffer in the cold weather…the need for charging stations will increase power demands on the grid (more electrical generation, more carbon dioxide produced)…not to mention the waste chemicals to produce the batterries…no reliability studies…depending on electronics and software to safely guide > 8oK lbs on a highway with human drivers on it also..but there will be plenty of fools lined up to buy them…
I am thinking theses trucks will just stay in Inner city loads. Drive your 300 to 400 miles per day and go home meanwhile the truck will being charged for the next day. Oh yeah don’t forget to plug in your truck or no work for the next day.
