In this video, we show you how to install Alpena’s LED Truckbed Kit built to illuminate the whole truck bed as some OEM lights are not strong enough to see in the dark. It comes with a pin-switch to mount on a tailgate for automatic power on/off when opening.
Now available at Wal Mart USA.
If you’re not confident in your ability to install this product, please consult a licensed mechanic.

So when my tailgate is closed the l.e.d's are dim very dim but you can see them……why and how can I fix that I installed exactly like the video 2008 ford f150 I'd like to know
So there’s no where I can install my pin switch to where it’d work. How do I go about wiring it to a rocker switch
What wire do I connect to in my tail light?
Too confusing for me
So here's what I did. I'm using the batteries that came in the package. Too easy. They will last 1-2 years. As long as I don't leave my tailgate down for extended lengths. Those (2) 9v batteries will power all (8) diode lights for 24hrs or so. My Escalade truck has one only OEM bed light but I didn't bother tapping into it. No need to and too much work.
why don't my lights work with the push pin? I installed 100 percent like the video? think I made a mistake buying this product
Thank you for a very detailed tutorial. I added an expandable circuit and tapped into the fuse box on the interior lights for power. Turned out great!
