This is all the truck I need right here
I don’t like how you turn on the head lights and the small bed.
Not really a base level truck. Only available in a crew cab. No manual transmission. Includes a screen that I can do without:
35k for a midsized work truck with 4wd high not even 4hi and low. That's such a ripoff.
Nice but 10k too much
I wish these had the front split bench seating and column shifter like silverado instead of trying to be fancy like a car.
I need a truck that has good towing numbers, payload and 4WD. I don't daily drive trucks at all. I really only use it for towing a camper, some yardwork, and getting feed. If I was using it as a daily driver, I would get the LT or higher trim.
Some things I would add would be better looking rims and LED bulbs.
Push Botton start AND a nice, large screen on a base model. Never been a Chevy fan but this changes my decision from the new Ranger as it does NOT offer those 2 things on the base trim. Chevy did this one right.
Wow, you could haul some serious groceries in the 'lil bed!
Does that mean the work truck that has the entry level engine have better mpg then the turbo plus?
That screen is way too big for a work truck
At first I thought this was a Silverado
$30k and you still can’t get alloy wheels?!
If your crew is just driving aound with some pool chemicals or some lawn and leaf bags then this bitch is perfect… plenty of space for uour QT toquitos and hard shell tacos
Putting the badge that high up is hideous
So the small kitty colorado price start is the same as f150
Sad thing is the truck is very cheap. No heated or cooled seats. No LED headlights or tail. Rims on the truck suck hardcore. I don't know, I guess some people like that rofl
Finally work trucks are becoming affordable again, Jesus only took them 10 years to realize these expensive pavement queens are actually hurting the working class.
Okay am I going crazy or is that cab on the Colorado just a k2xx 2014 to 2019 half cab cause there almost identical and same door handles
$31k for 237hp, 2wd? No thanks. Also, wtf happened to extended cabs? Why are 4 door cars on a truck frame with a small bed considered a work truck? If it is a work truck, many people won't be needing to haul adults in the back. An extended cab like my frontier has, with the half size suicide doors is plenty big enough for kids and you still get a 6" bed without the truck having a huge footprint. The plastic cladding all over the front also doesn't strike me a work truck. Just simplify the the front end already. About the only thing that actually strikes as being a work truck is the steel wheels….which make sense on the $22k ford maverick, but on a $31-$35k truck? And that screen looks like a big waste of $. I think that the problem with the modern automotive market, is that the people who are willing/able to buy brand new vehicles are idiots. Anyway, thanks for the review, now I know never to bother looking at a colorado.
I think so many people use auto headlights they figured they could save money by not installing a switch or knob.
$35k is still a high price for what you’re getting
Single speed transfer cases in GM trucks idk who thought that was a good idea. And that 8 speed is a nightmare
Imagine getting into a accident at night the dash board stops working so the lights shut off
What happens when the screen stops working
Way to expensive for a base w/t
Mid truck
No its not
That's thousands more than I paid for my 2020 mid level awd honda pilot. I will not be sad to see these auto makers go bankrupt from their greed
Missing the extended cabs of the gm twins. A newer Canyon extended cab would be my first choice
My first pickup was an 84 Chevy S10 base model, radio delete 4 cylinder 4 speed two wheel drive two door.Sticker was $5999.
Cheap?!?
The more he talked the more the price went up
35k is not that cheap????
What is crazy I got a near fully optioned 2019 Colorado Z71 new for 34k backin 2019. MSRP was about 41k though so it just goes to show you how heavily discounted vehicles were back then.
Thats not a work truck 😂. work truck is 2wd reg or xtra cab, column shifter, no giant screen, etc..
That's a new truck? That engine looks like someone swapped out a new engine and swapped in one that's been sitting in a junkyard lol.
Give it a Solid 10/100000 bumper to bumper and I might think about it. The towing capacity sucks on the base. Also Sell the mid trim for that price.
That it has a turbo kills it for me. No thank you.
