A misty day in Hastings in East Sussex and a multi species session from the Beach this week . February fishing from the Coast of England can be hard going but this session was great fun as we land 5 Different species to talk about .
I try and predict what fish is on the end of the line from the way its moving the rod ! i do quite well actually.
Theres a few mistakes to laugh at ,
A unwanted Problem floating past
and some tricky moments as i hook a fish while the dogs go crazy!
I really enjoyed this session for more reasons than one.
Please do comment on the video it really helps if i know people are watching through as there are some hints and tips as well as some to dos! and not to dos.

Hi Matt. Nice day on the beach again. Can you tell me the rods you are using please.
Cheers John 😆😃👍👍
A good honest video of a days beach fishing in February, roll on the summer thanks for sharing
Great session Matt! Nice mix of Fish and a Mr Basstastic! Bit jealous of you muching on that delicious Dab!
Bit of a Chest infection that Wifey kindly donated to me – every cloud has a Silver lining! Coughing like hell if I lie down so at least I can sit up in the wee hours and watch Youtube in peace!
Looking for a spare spool for my Surfblaster II, might give Braid another go. 50Lb straight thru is the plan, got a couple of boat reels to load too so looking for ideas. 8 strand? Tight lines, and Stay safe & well – Dave. 🎣🎣👍👍
Nice to see the bass all you need now is it’s grandad lol 😂. Well done 😊
Awesome again Matt awesome looking day a few fish & 1 for dinner what more could u ask for. Happy catching from AUSTRALIA Nick
great vid bro
Yes there are a lot of swimmers on my local beach, however I've not had them swim in front of me. They always (so far ) turn and swim back again! One of the reasons I long for remote and empty beaches…….
Well in bud
That was classic when you kissed that Bass !
A good session for February there Matt and good to see that bass. We'd struggle to match that in daylight around here at the moment. Does your little dog accompany you on many sessions ?
A good assortment Matt🎣🎣🎣! And some cracking shots of the sunlight on the sea.❤️
Shame about the missed bites🥺. Even worse about the swimmers. Are they blind or stupid?🤔
We have a problem with surfers, but we can't move cos we're on a pier.🫣
All in all, a nice session for the time of year.👏
Thanks for sharing.👍
Take care and stay safe.😷🙊
What a great session! Thats a years species list for me 🤣
Great video, thanks.
Thanks for sharing Really enjoyable Vid Keep them coming Regards from NZ
I nice average day of early spring fishing?
Not bad. Great to see a bass in there too.
Every year seems to bring more cold weather swimmers. There's about 6 clubs near here and the median age is about 70. They're either mad, or their tolerance to cold is phenomenal.
Really enjoyed the video Matt. I see the swimmers out in force as per usual for that mark – no common sense!
How Far Is Your Cast Matt.😎
Once again matt excelled video love that we got to help pick out your thumbnail soon bass on lures if the water temperatures rise looking forward to it 😁👍
Good vid matt great sound😎
You have a far kinder attitude to nuisance swimmers than me. I take the position that if they can't possibly see me, I can't see them. Even though the bait and rig are nailed to the seabed, they freak out touching a section of 60lb braid with their leg.
I from Slovenia.
I am fisherman.
Where is this?
The sight of a bass! Not too long before the lures come back out.
Nice one and the conditions didn't look too bad either. Have the dabs really become that small? I guess the days of the nice bags of big dabs are well and truly over! 😬
