One technique that I have had good success with is taking the sinking jerk shed I do use the caffeine shad and letting it rest on top of the weeds and then pop it up and then let it sink till it rest on the weeds pop it up got a lot of bass that way
Seen this years ago.
I see a lot of people using flukes for halibut, rays, and sharks at ocean piers in SoCal when I visit family there.
I love fishing a fluke but I like a good little wind and then I fish it like a walking spook jerking it side to side
Thank you Steve.
I can attest to the floating fluke technique being a good one. My son actually fishes that presentation more than anything else I've seen him use. It's his confidence bait for sure. And he's caught more fish than I can count doing it!
I always have one on 12lb fluro and 40lb braid 2 swim jigs and a shaky head or neko….I have caught so many fish on the soft jerkbaits they work great…
Good stuff again steve, that's my go to when my hands are tired, slow and easy
Great stuff as always
Hey, Steve, pray you are well. Great video and info, as always. Take care and be safe, brother
